So, how is the process of adding a MOD to Nexus done? Is it easy and nearly automatic, or am I facing another high learning curve?

no idea i never release anything, look under files, add a file i ques
Pretty much, and it walks you through it. Quite straightforward.

I do see people getting confused by the fact that the uploaded mod *needs* to be in a zip file, however.

Edit: Also, it's up to you if you want to archive your mod's assets (using the Creation Kits archiver) into ba2's (which would also be put in the same zip file as the esp) or not.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Concerns my settlement Open Stands ( http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13329/? )

From JimmyRJump (via my mod's bug reports):

For months I had a bug that didn't let me send a provisioner from whatever settlement to Oberland Station. A supply line could be established with whatever settlement, starting from Oberland, but -although the supply line shows on the Commonwealth map- the Oberland WorkShop never gets connected. Everything else at Oberland works like it should; radio beacon, assigning settlers and whatever's necessary to establish a serious settlement.

I started a new game a couple of days ago and finally saw that it is this mod that makes Oberland Station disappear from the settlement list's menu and somehow disconnects the settlement entirely from the rest.

Open Stands (versions 2.0 & 2.21 are those I've used) works like it should, but somehow seems to replace Oberland Station.

Now, although I seriously toned down on amount of mods used, I'm still at 167 plug-ins, which of course means that the issue may as well lie between Open Stands and another mod I'm using... but it does seem peculiar that, when I de-activate Open Stands, Oberland re-appears on the settlements list when wanting to assign a supply line to a settler.

Thoughts?

Notes:

-2.21 is newest version, by the way.

-I cannot reproduce it, but I can't discount it. I can imagine conflicts, but with what? If it was going to break when other settlement mods were installed, it'd be breaking all over the place every day with all you new settlement builders. Not to mention, the whole esp is specifically built with only the necessities in mind, so there really isn't much to conflict with.

-Maybe a quest mistake I made in an update somewhere? Recently, it seems, I'm a bull in a china shop when it comes to the CK and I fully admit it (see my companion that broke talking to *anyone* in the game *at all*!).

only way to track it down is, start a hole new game no mods only your mod, if oberland works like intended then there is a mod that jimmy use that mess up things

oberland is a original settlement it should always work like intended

i know jimmy use a lot of mods(prolly to many settlements things), but the only way to get it down is start new, then add mods 1 by 1 and see if he can find the mod that cause it

if i make a mistake(forget something then this happens sometimes but only with a custome settlement) (all info show worksshop/worldmap, but when sending some 1 to xx it don't show in the list)

So, now I have a problem regarding my mod, The Small Addition.

I just noticed about a week ago that somewhere between version 0.4 and 0.53 (fine before that, and without any added DLC masters/files), I ruined my Commonwealth map side supply line lines to and from my new worldspace. Everything works well enough, but I lost the graphical representation of the lines on the Commonwealth pip-boy map.

I don't know where I lost them, as it was obviously unintentional, but definitely between .4 and .53. And, in my haste to clean it up in .57, I probably made it worse. Maybe I'm tired, maybe lack of free time, or just plain got ahead of myself...who knows. Regardless, I can't seem to see my error.

To be clear, I am asking for a second set of eyes on this mod.

It's probably something simple I'm overlooking, obviously my fault, probably an erroneous edit I made when doing my cleaning routine in FO4Edit before uploading, and probably will make me look bad...but again, I'm just not seeing the error. Deciding to put aside my pride/vanity and just ask. ;-)

I am totally unwilling to go back to an earlier version...just too much time lost on an already tight schedule. =(

So, any second looks would be very much appreciated.

Note: Debated asking in my WIP thread but decided here is fine since this may come up for others and I know you all are here. =)

Besides, I have another/seperate request that's better suited for my WIP thread. ;-)

We haven't talked much about new worldspaces with new settlements.

I'm downloading it now Blah, I don't know if I'll be of any help though. I've been deep in what I've been in.

Has anyone done any preliminary work into how Nuka world works with settlements? How about custom ones? I've not even played the game since starting on this project, except for some testing and making some screenshots, and I've been getting some questions that have left me concerned about if I've properly prepared.

I'll take, and appreciate, any extra eyes at this point...just can't see why it stopped working. Speedy kindly looked at it also.

Of who I know, M0ds1984 is the only one I think has gone anywhere near them and how they work...and I'm not even sure how far he went into the new functionality, to be honest.

Speedy probably has, though for personal use only most likely, as he tends towards.

...I knows there's been about 10 FizzTop Grill settlements or player homes made. =P

...but that's not what you're asking I think.
