Vanilla and DLC script fixing anyone?

In Honest Hearts you start off in the middle of an ambush from the White Legs right?

 

First Jed goes "Oh noes its all quiet now"

 

Next thing some poor sucker has his head blown up by a Tomahawk.

 

Then he says "Cover people!"

 

But......nothing happens, the guard with the grenade rifle doesn't do anything, the white leg on the cliffs just doesn't move.

 

Any way the script kicks itself in the head to start, which results in simultaneous explosions at the feet of the white leg and the grenade rifle guard.

 

Then it crashs.

 

I know this seems like more of a troubleshooting topic, but in all seriousness, I think a script fixing mod should be made.
