robhartman9 Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Did everyone find the Vim Ambassador armor and all the Vim recipes? http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/278474310951702863/594928A47165ECCCEE484C525929B55CE29EDD86/
budrick007 Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 yes. recipes are on computer in same place you find VIM armor. Second armor (Vim Refresh) is in back of truck N of far Harbor.
robhartman9 Posted May 29, 2016 Author Posted May 29, 2016 I didn't find the second one. Off to rectify that. There really is a ton of cool stuff in the Far Harbor DLC. Secret quests that you can just stumble upon and other content that you have to go out look for. I think the main game focused too much on the new building and settlement aspects of the game like Sim City. Far Harbor has a more RPG feel to it and I have to say I'm having fun with it
TheGadget1945 Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I only found the power armour on my second visit to the factory ! I was quite startled when I saw it.
robhartman9 Posted May 29, 2016 Author Posted May 29, 2016 I found the Vim Refresh power armor. I must have walked past that truck in the dark at least 6 times. I even remember thinking that's a strange billboard. I wonder how many other things I walked right past in the dark.
Wunderbot Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 There's an unmarked quest on one of the islands in the southeast. Find the storage shed and look around for your first clue. It's really enjoyable. I advice taking your time with it, there are several pieces to the background story to be found. It's all just really atmospheric.
robhartman9 Posted May 30, 2016 Author Posted May 30, 2016 The cranberry island bog quest was cool. The recover storage drives for Faraday leads you to a boat with a chest that says you need Victorias key to open it. Anyone know where Victoria is?

Somebody in Acadia will give you a quest related to that.
robhartman9 Posted June 2, 2016 Author Posted June 2, 2016 I sent Dima to face the music so that quest may be unavailable. I did find some more cool stuff like a super mutant trader who trains canines. I bought a wolf. I went on a boat trip to another island to destroy the dreaded Red Death most fearsome beast ever to terrorize the wastelands. I went spelunking only to fall down a hole into a different cave system. There were all these signs Stop, Turn Back, Danger but did I listen Noooo. I am sure I can find plenty more ways to get into trouble long after the main quest and side quests are done. I have been running around looking for compass blips that are not already shown on my map and tracking them down. There are also miscellaneous sites that don't even have a marker I only find by accident wandering around collecting Aster. You can burn through the main quest pretty fast and if that's all you do I could see being disappointed but Far Harbor has a lot more to offer.

Since it's not really a spoiler for the quest: you need to talk to one of the Acadia merchants, Cog. He's in the room with the scientist Aster. He'll give you the quest eventually. The Super Mutant is indeed pretty cool. He keeps training new ones, so you can keep going back to buy new canines. There's also some backstory on his old gang in the Vim factory. I found his terminal entries before finding him, so it was kinda cool to discover he actually existed in the game. Edited June 2, 2016 by Wunderbot
