minngarm
Hes just being racist. I'm not being Racist. And I prefer Xbox because I have been playing console all my life and PC is new to me and I also have all my Xbox friends and all friends from school play it and also my 21k Gamerscore You know windows live AKA xbox live works on pc and gives you achievements for it infact you can get the same achievements for pc and xbox and it stacks your score higher. You can also talk to your friends on there, with a headset if you prefer. You can also plug in a controler or control device of any kind you wish and it will play with it. Then you can even use your TV as a display instead or in conjunction with your monitor. There is no reason not to want to play on PC. But it is your choice to make. minngarm
Your xbox live account is a windows live account, just login with it. You either need a hdmi TV with a hdmi video card on your pc. Or a card to match the input type of your TV, such as a coaxel card.
kieranbhoy
But my achievements go to steam and I have a laptop and a small hd tv how would that work
minngarm
If your HD TV has a HDMI cable port (probably used by the xbox.) and your PCs video card has one you can connect it that way and then just select the input source. You need to see your TVs manual for exact details if you do not know how to do this already. Steam doesnt matter, its windows live achievements that are going to add to your xbox live account. Steam is not "supported" in that way.

minngarm
No they do not allow mods because consoles are designed only to be moddable by official channels, in other words; DLCs. Anything else requires some firmware bastardizing and a little tool work. Which then makes the unit illegal. Also if you could mod on console you could easily get mods to give you over powered armor and guns for other games that would make it completely unfair to play online.
