Limorkil
Zedd asked this in another post, which was locked because only two choices were given. The reason I am resurrecting the topic, and making it open ended, is that I was playing Morrowind only this morning and I was doing a quest that I have done several times before and I thought "This has to be the most annoying quest ever". I followed that thought with, "Actually, there's probably more annoying ones if I think about it a bit more." Please don't spoil the quest by talking about the solution or the rewards, unless you really have to because the rewards are the annoying part. To kick things off, here are the most annoying quests I can think of: 1. The miscellaneous quest to reunite a lady with a bandit. Zedd hates this one too, and it is what got me thinking about this earlier today. I hate it because you basically have to play messenger boy and go back to the town you probably just left. It's just a tedious go from A to B and back to A quest. 2. The "Ring in Darkness" quest from the Imperial Cult. This is a good quest in that you start with a riddle, but it gets annoying because the dungeon you have to find is VERY well hidden, even if you know the approximate location. I couldn't even find it even with a MAP showing me where it was supposed to be. 3. The murder victim quest in Vivec. This one annoys me because it sounds really good and ominous at first, but then when you get into it the murder totally fails to meet expectations. 4. The "I did that ages ago" quests. There are a few quests like this, where by the time you actually receive the quest the object of the quest is something that you almost certainly took care of weeks before. There are a couple of Imperial Legion quests like this: the breeding netch and Lords Mail. It annoys me because it is very antimclimactic to find that you did it already. I have more, but I don't want to prompt the discussion too much.
TheDeadTree
Getting that slave girl with the wide hips for the Ashlander chief. God I hated dragging her all the way across the northeast corner of the damned world.

Pack Rat
you might fix that with some mods the annoying quest would be the run a way slaves.

ohGr
id have to agree with german_man, that skull quest off that orc who is apparently a necromancer IS annoying, i ended up making a spell that teleports you to that location...well...i dont have it anymore, because it teleported me under the map. Malchik
Most annoying for me are delivering large quantities of alcohol on behalf of the fighters' guild. There are two of quests, sujamma to the Dunirai caverns - and they took me ages to find - and Flin to the Elith-Pal mine. The loads are so heavy it severely restricts what you can collect en route and the rewards are minimal (a few septims and a bottle of brandy respectively).
