cyberloader
How do I get FOSE to work correctly? I have finally managed to make the game actually load, and now I get this "popup" saying that I need FOSE in order to run the Wanderers Edition. Okay, so I downloaded FOSE, installed it, but the thing is still asking for FOSE. My load order is this: [X] Fallout3.esm[X] Anchorage.esm[X] ThePitt.esm[X] BrokenSteel.esm[X] PointLookout.esm[X] Zeta.esm[X] CRAFT.esm[X] CALIBR.esm[X] xCALIBR.esm[X] FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm[X] FO3 Wanderers Edition - Alternate Travel.esp[X] EnhancedChildren.esm[X] AliciasCuteShop.esm[X] Mart's Mutant Mod.esm[X] FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esp[X] FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Anchorage.esp[X] FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC The Pitt.esp[X] FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Broken Steel.esp[X] FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Point Lookout.esp[X] FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Mothership Zeta.esp[X] FO3 Wanderers Edition - Followers Enhanced (BrokenSteel).esp[X] FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers.esp[X] FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers (automatics only).esp[X] Alt Start Weapons - FWE.esp[X] AliciasCuteShopDoorOverride.esp[X] Childhood Beginning.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Anchorage.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC The Pitt.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Broken Steel.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Point Lookout.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Zeta.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - Zones Respawn.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - Tougher Traders.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - Natural Selection.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - Master Menu Module.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release + DLCs.esp[X] Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release.esp[ ] Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release + Project Beauty.esp[X] CALIBRxMerchant.esp[X] CRAFT - Activation Perk.esp[X] Stealthboy Recon Armor - CRAFT.esp[X] xCALIBRammo_FWE.esp[X] MiniHideout.esp[X] UndergroundHideout.esp What is the trick? cyberloader
I have tried to install the Unofficial_Fallout_3_Patch_-_Installer_Version-3808 (and probably overwrote a bunch of stuff in the process) but I still get the FOSE popup. I think these mods are just too difficult to be installed correctly for me.
BlackRampage
I'm assuming you have FoMM? Does the "Launch Fallout 3" button in FoMM change to "Launch FOSE" after you've installed FOSE? And in what directory did you "install" (copy & paste actually) FOSE? It's supposed to be installed in the main Fallout 3 folder.
cyberloader
Ah, I had loaded FOSE through FOMM. Thank you, it seems to be working so far :o)

ETC why wont it work ? i aint using Fallout mod manager and it still wont work. this is what i keep getting in game. because the game dont ( or wont ) detect the files it say in middle of gameplay you do not have an up to date version of fose or it can not be detected.
