Skyrim, Should i buy it on release?

Yes the weight system is exactly like fallout 3 .. if you carry to much you slow down to a walking pace .. this is confirmed

 

It does not use the special system that F3 used .. instead there is no class setup in the beginning and you just level what you use .. unlike fallout 3 where you can spend your skill points on anything in Skyrim you can only spend skillpoits/perkpoints on things you use .. meaning if you swing a sword a lot you will get better at swinging a sword.

 

Skyrim will without a doubt have far more quests than fallout .. oblivion had more than fallout .. and this game is said to have more than oblivion.

Should be much bigger .. their are five main cities (I think this might have gone up to 7?) and many smaller towns.. small towns are marked by little churches

 

Also this is a living world unlike fallout where everyone is dead .. so expect many more people in your travels .. and about the hardcore mode .. take note that Bethesda didn't make NV .. that was an obsidian game using Bethesda's engine.
