cossayos
Try to disable godrays entirely and add the following to your fallout4.ini under display. fShadowDistance=7000fDirShadowDistance=7000 That did it for me. I virtually couldn't play my game anymore, now it's back to decent framerates. Edited June 4, 2016 by cossayos
LoneYukon6512
Thanks for your suggestion; I actually DL'd the new shadow boost this morning....off to chk it out will report back in a bit.I'm not sure if it's because I have no mods - or possibly because the Fps counter is returning false values - but the quality of 17fps is not really bad (no huge stutter - even when running around downtown Boston)...but it's definitely not the smooth creamery style butter I had before the most recent update....is there some way to find out if the counter is returning false values, and if so, is there an app for that? Edit: entered the lines you suggested to my ini...shadow boost runs well...but still getting fr returns of 25-32.5 Edit: also...noticed a buncha new lines in the ini that look like they are Nvidia control centered. I use AMD hardware...could this be affecting me - and if so, can I remove these lines and still function?
