Shivering Isles not opening

Hey guys, I have an issue with Shivering Isles. It doesn't exist, neither in the quest log, nor in the map. And it's been "months" since I started the game

 

Checking a previous post, I tried adding the command in the console, but using the setstage SE01Door 10 command in the console results in an error!

 

I get something that reads

 

Script 'SysWindowCompileAndRun', line 1:

Item Command "SE01Door" not found

 

-or- if I run the command all together with no spaces,

 

Script 'SysWindowCompileAndRun', line 1:

Script Command "setstageSE01Door10" not found

 

UAC is off. "DLCShiveringIsles.esp (Player File)" is loaded in the Data Files. Part of GOTY edition, with Knights working fine. When playing vanilla, quest showed up.

Try using BOSS to sort your load order. From what I am looking at, things don't look like they should. Also use either OBMM or Wrye Bash to check to be sure that everything is enabled that should be.

Hey, tried it but didn't work. Interestingly enough, when I ran it, it said OOO wasn't installed. I guess I'll just have to try from scratch once I finish all the non-SI stuff I wanna do.

I was looking at your load order and did not see the unofficial SI patch. Did you install the patch or you forgot? Don't forget to get the supplemental patch also. If you installed the game correctly it should work because I'm using the GOTY edition too and it works fine for me although I haven't been to the island yet.

you've simply got UAC infestation

 

(its a gift from Microsoft)

 

solved by uninstalling the game COMPLETELY

 

and re-installing it someplace - anyplace - else

He/she stated UAC was off.

 

Clasam, first off: ditch Cheydinhal Petshop. ; It causes problems for a number of other mods, and development was discontinued.; Second: are you using a mod managing tool such as OBMM or Wrye Bash? If not, I'd strongly suggest the latter. It can spot a lot of issues such as mods missing parent mods, etc. Give it a try. Third: be sure you have the latest OOO version, and reinstall that. Don't worry about uninstalling it, first.

Did UAC tell him it was off

 

Megalomania doesn't go away because you lock it up.

 

It comes back to haunt you.

 

 

besides symptoms of UAC domination continue to show their ugly heads
