Invisible Vault 81?!

So this is the first game breaking bug I've come across and it's a dozy.

I have no idea what the heck caused this especially since I've been to vault 81 before in this play thorough and it was totally fine.

 

This happened after I did the quest to find the cat. I am playing with mods (almost 200 plugins lol) So I think that may have something to do with it but I don't think I have any mod that directly involves vaults especially since vault 111 and 95 both look fine when i visit them.

 

I've verified the game cache through Steam already and that didn't help so my next thought was to do a re-install while keeping my saves and see if that would help but I really want to do that last as again I have almost 200 mods to reload and the rest of the game so far seems fine.

 

Anyway hope one of you guys has something useful pertaining to this as I've never come across something like this in Fallout 4 or Skyrim lol.

I just had the same thing happen in Fallons Department Store though the Super Mutant bodies were very clearly defined. Vault 95 has always been very badly glitched for me - some of the walls render as bright lights with this kind of scrolling effect.

I actually figured out what my problem was, I had Eli's room makeover for Vault 81 installed before I actually had access to the room which somehow ended up with this. After I finished the quest and I re-installed the mod everything was fine. I knew this was the culprit because I had her mod for the railroad player room and the same thing happened. So point is don't install Eli's faction player rooms mod until you actually have access to them. This is probably on a sticky or on her homepage and I'm just a pleb and didn't read it thoroughly. Now like I said my Vault 95 was fine so unfortunately I'm not sure what is wrong with yours.
