ventrilol
This is an accurate list concerning the advantages and disadvantages of the game: The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim, depending on the platform you want to useLast modification: October 22, 2011 11.11.11. Feel free to comment or criticize, i'm not flawless -------------------------------------------------Advantages---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Platform : PC 1. The MODS are available.2. The use of Console Commands. The ability the fix glitches, reset quests, add/remove items from your inventory, resurrect NPCs, etc. The Console can obviously be an invaluable tool.3. PC can render in a higher resolution, has improved tesselation, and will run with more frames per second if youhave the right specs. 4. Modders will be able to fix all the bugs before the developers.5. A mouse can be much more accurate and precise than any controller as of today.6. A keyboard has more customizable buttons than any controller, making it easier to select a gamestylethat suits you better. -------------------------------------------------Disadvantages-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Platform : PC 1. A relatively good PC with specs that are better than a console is an investment that will cost much more thanthe console itself2. It is possible that a PC does not meet the graphic requirements for this game or is under the console standard3. First DLC will be available 30 days after Xbox 3604. Some hackers will crack it, but still, some people really want to feel the ultimate "unsealing the best gameever experience". -------------------------------------------------Advantages---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Platform: Xbox 360 1.Plug and play simplicity, easier for casual players to access.2.Play the game as it's meant to be played (no mods). 3. First DLC will be available 30 days before PC and PS34. Guaranteed to run on a console, you do not need to customize it.5. The game is developed mainly for Xbox 360, so you know the product is already proven to be good.6. A controller, an HDTV and a sofa is more likely going to be a more relaxing experience than a PC chairand a screen that's 10 inches close to your eyes. -------------------------------------------------Disadvantages-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Platform: Xbox 360 1. The mods are NOT available.2. The bugs are fixed sometimes very late in the process, or not even fixed3. Mediocre graphics compared to PC when maxxed out, slightly less than PS3. 4. Controllers tend not to be as precise as a mouse -------------------------------------------------Advantages---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Platform: PS3 1. Plug and play simplicity, easier for casuals to access.2. Play the game as it's meant to be played (no mods). 3. Guaranteed to run on a console, you do not need to customize it.4. PS3 has better specs than it's rival, the Xbox 3605. A controller, an HDTV and a sofa is more likely going to be a more relaxing experience than a PC chairand a screen that's 10 inches close to your eyes. -------------------------------------------------Disadvantages-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Platform: PS3 1. The mods are NOT available.2. First DLC will be available 30 days after Xbox 3603. The bugs are fixed sometimes very late in the process, or not even fixed4. Mediocre graphics compared to PC when maxxed out.5. The game is a port off Xbox 360, which can sometimes lead to a less polished overall gameplay6. Controllers tend not to be as precise as a mouse ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I agree that some advantages are worth more than others, but this is just a list I made with some Googling, experience, and simple judgementYou buy it on whatever platform suits you. Povuholo
1. A relatively good PC with specs that are better than a console is an investment of USD 1500.00$ and moreAn extremely good PC that can max out anything and would easily match the next generation of consoles would hardly even cost that. Werne
@Igetbabes I clicked "not buying it" http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/tongue.gif. I won't buy it, but my friend will, and I'll just trade with him for the game.
Adrius2
I spent about 800$ on my home-built computer, and I'm yet to run into framerate difficulties in any game. Frankly my computer makes my 360 look as technically impressive as a toaster.
Razthemystic
@Igetbabes I clicked "not buying it" http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/tongue.gif. I won't buy it, but my friend will, and I'll just trade with him for the game. Technically the question was what would be the first host for you; saying what will you be playing on? Not buying it should really be phrased Not playing it....
