Eh... got too complicated for me. Shame :) Still, if anyone got inspired... go right ahead and do what I couldn't :D (and share with me, hoho) -

Oh darn, I've done some personal retextures of armors and thought it would be just as easy... just popping the DDS files up in GIMP and edit away. Sounds like a lot of work, but I do get what you're saying.... hmm... thanks a lot! -
I also want to see this made :)

Was gonna request a mod at first but decided hell, I might as well learn something myself. Inspired by mods like Daedra of Coldharbour and Vampire Eyes of Coldharbour, I'm thinking of making a retexture of the Vampiric Drain and Vampire Lord Vampiric Drain. I want to make these spells cold blue instead of blood red, to kind of represent draining the enemy's soul rather than his blood, kind of. Anyway it's gonna look awesomely Coldharboury (that's a word now) So... I'm just wondering where I find these textures in the bsa? Hoping someone can help make my life a bit easier! tl:dr: Adrius wants to retexture all effects related to absorb health and is too lazy to find them himself in that vast archive, which texture files are these?

LE Lydia turns black and gives off evil-looking smoke when crouching

Ebony Mail shroud...? Check her equipped items. Wrong forum as well. -
I want it. There's a mercy mod that makes enemies that beg for mercy actually stop attacking you, but it has several problems that hurt the immersion of it. Furthermore, enemies that get back up and stab you in the back after pleading for their lives isn't something I find that weird, they're effing bandits, of course they will. So... here's an idea for an alternative for those of us who consider human life sacred or whatever. 1. enemy falls to his/her knees, bleedout state, "M-mercy...!" 2. "'Allriiiiighty theeeen", Dovahkiin bashes his/her stupid face in with his shield/weapon. 3. Enemy falls to the floor unconscious. I think it's a pretty elegant solution that would blend into the game very well. Could maybe even add a MCM menu for how long the unconsciousness would last :) Whatcha think? Possible?

Arise - Chapter 1 - The Black Sacrament
-
@Artmurder: Thanks man, that was kinda what I was looking for... can modify the colour levels and naming myself. Too bad my Dunmer's pointy chin clips through the mask, urgh.
-
I'm searching for a mod that adds masks to the game, you know the kind that just covers your nose and below, kinda ninja esque. It would complete my shadow ranger look. I've found Sundracorn's Half-Mask but it has such jagged edges, would like something closer to the skin. Anyone know of any mod that adds such masks?

I dunno if this is possible, but hear me out. The idea is a black hooded robe that covers every body part without replacing the equipment underneath. Only the robe is visible, but your assassin's gear (or whatever you fancy) stays equipped in the background. This way, you can equip a robe over your standard equipment and look less like an obvious fricking murderer in public, and simply unequip the robe when you're out of sight, without having to go through the trouble of reequipping all of your gear. Thoughts? EDIT: Nevermind, find a solution in the "Hotkey your Gear" mod. Mods feel free to close this one.

Deadly Dragons - Storm Dragon - overpowered, stupid fight
Adrius2 replied to Dahveed's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
They're powerful alright, and their breath is a fricking sniper rifle... hits from so far away ^^ I can still deal with them with my sword and boarder Dovahkiin by using Ethereal shout to ignore the breath attacks and close in on him when he's landed, and then power bashing him if he tries to breath at me again while blocking his bites. I am using Improved Dragon Shouts and Duel - Combat Realism however, our games are rarely the same. -
Deadly Dragons - Storm Dragon - overpowered, stupid fight
Adrius2 replied to Dahveed's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Yes it's Deadly Dragons, and those dragons don't care about you changing the difficulty very much when they have already spawned. With DD, you're going to run into dragons that will rape you hard. I always get the Ethereal shout as soon as possible cuz without it you CANNOT close in on the dragons without them frying you. If your butt is taking a bit too much dragon invasion, DD can be configured completely to your liking through the console (for example, reducing that dragon's breath damage). Just read the readme, it's all there. Oh yeah and it's all your fault, no worries, leave the mod author's modpage alone ^^ -
http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/images/723490-1339263808.jpg (don't be scared Nexus, that's a female with actual armor. I know it's heretical) Name: Sajida Race: Redguard Specialization: Melee combat and archery, Thu'um. Favourite items: Sword called Stormgazer and a bow called Pyrestrike. Sajida travelled to Skyrim to help the Imperial cause, and was ironically captured on crossing the border. After escaping and having her destiny as Dragonborn revealed to her, she embraces her new power and uses it to help reunite Skyrim for the Empire.

I'm sure many of us are brainstorming character ideas for when Dawnguard is released, mainly vampire characters obviously. In Skyrim, vampirism makes your eyes differently coloured depending on what race you belong to before turning into a vampire. A Redguard will have a different eye colour than a Breton, for instance. What I would like to know is what the differences actually are. What do Nord vampires' eyes look like? Imperial? I can't find any info on this. The only one I remember is Bretons having golden eyes, but that's it. Mind helping out?

The Nerevarine vs The Hero of Kvatch vs Dovahkin
Adrius2 replied to Sanbru's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Well, avoiding doesn't exactly mean defeat. Sheogorath's "weakness" is the fact that he's so damn chaotic, but if he would set his mind on actually destroying someone, or rather putting them on the golden road to insanity, I'm pretty darn sure he would succeed. After all, exactly how would the Dovakhiin go about killing a Daedra Lord? Sweetrolls I say. EVERYONE. SWEETROLLS. -

Sheogorath can turn him into a sweetroll at a whim. -

I prefer calling the Oblivion hero the "Champion of Cyrodiil". But uh yeah, being somewhat of a Daedric God should pretty much top the others, you're practically given the power of immortality at the end of the Shivering Isles questline and you're still going strong in Skyrim, having grown into your role quite well ^^ -
Something tells me that this request is less about immersion and more about a fetish.

Hoping for improved horse controls and 1st person riding. I mean I can barely steer my horse anyway.
-
Uh yeah I don't have that stuff in my ini either. I looked through them all, in fact there are several other entries that I completely lack that you have. Must've tweaked it quite extensively. Can I just add the entry perhaps?
-
I like to believe that Martin now exists as the barrier keeping the Daedra from invading Mundus. Perhaps all of the Septims are part of the barrier in fact, since he shattered the amulet's soulstone which contained all previous emperors as well.
-
Check out Mount & Blade if you want to see horse archery done right. Sadly, the horse controls for Skyrim are one of the few features that feel distinctly console ported. It's just fricking impossible to steer these things. If you want to create a horse archery mod, you'd first have to deal with the steering system for the horses, to make it even remotely possible to aim and steer at the same time.

You can be of any race to be Dragonborn really, it's a blessing from the gods. However, if you wanna be of a Nord bloodline you can be Imperial or Breton as well. Imperials ARE Nords lorewise, they may have become different in culture and the land has shaped their bodies different, but in the end they're both the same race (The Imperial race didn't even exist before Oblivion), Breton are halfbloods of Nord and Elven descent so naturally they may have a Dragonborn bloodline as well.
