Igetbabes
does anyone know if we can like turn off the quest markers to help us guide through the game? i liked it in morrowind where you had to find everything on your own, it gave it more realism and more exploration opportunities
Cyberote
I believe you can turn them off, but I'm not completely sure where it was confirmed.
InuyashaFE
I hope so, in one of the vids, it had a quest marker over a person's head. Bleh. I started Elder Scrolls with Oblivion and I thought that was way too much.
Fatalmasterpiece
I hope so, in one of the vids, it had a quest marker over a person's head. This is so dissapointing... they keep making it easier, simpler and more console oriented. What a great way to ruin immersion.

Odai
I am not reading that thread... but you can go into your jounral and for each recieved quest you can disable the markers, or (to my understanding) you can have multiple at once (where clairvoyance comes in handy because it take you to the closest one). What I dont know, is if by turning down the HUD you can eliminate the NPC markers above their head. I know you can erase all of the bars and the compass and yadda yadda, The way I intend to play... 0 HUD... no compass, no health bars, no anything. But this allows me to still keep the quest markers on and use clairvoyance to be sure Im heading the right direction. Should be a slow grueling process... just the way I want it. If I am lost I can look at my map... ya know, the way normal people do.
gretzky99
The Oblivion quest markers were so retarded...I sure hope they don't force them on us in SKyrim.
TehGorgy
I for one can't wait to turn off the quest markers and wonder around hopelessly looking for the right cave or NPC. I would hope this would lead me to places I otherwise might have ignore if I was just going from point A to B.
Pendinq
Instead of quest markers there's just kids lining the path saying "over here!! follow me to the quest! I fart" needless to say I'm pumped
