Bethesda net Disappointment

Well, I am a console user as I can't afford a nice PC, also once you have a bunch of friends on the console and saves it makes it hard to switch.

I read all your updates and I'm sorry so many people were ignorant or rude. The player base is huge on console compared to PC so regrettably there are more bad eggs, but of course more good ones too. I ask that you don't take the comments so seriously, most of the people who understand and appreciate your efforts are unfortunately the silent majority.

Let me reiterate I dont mean all console users but when I had both the X1 and PC version up on bethnet my X1 version had quite a bit of negative feed back and I kept posting over and over that it required the MF mod and the people telling me to hijack the mod for the clothing my character was wearing and upload it for them to use and I had one demand that I ask the mod author to give me permission to upload that said mod that crap pisses me the F off. Now I did have people that were very polite. And comments are your feedback so you have to pay attention to them. Yes I understand ignorance is life I deal with it every day. Do you understand where I am coming from now?

Please tell me you reported the jerkass that asked you to steal s***... God, I wish I could reach through the internet and choke some of those assholes.

Defiantly. I have zero tolerance for that s#*!

I certainly do. I've been railing against people like that all day, and had to close two of my topics on the Gfaqs forums. A lot of console people there and although most were amicable enough it only took one to kill the thread.

I havnt requested or pmed any MAs. I feel like that is really rude. "Demanding" anything from MAs who are typically creating these mods without even owning the console is outrageous. I saw three hijacked mods today, it's out of hand.

The polite console players you won't usually hear from though.

-sigh- that's not an excuse though. It's pretty ridiculous how the console crowd doesn't grasp that they are hurting their first "large game" mod experience. We are losing out on a lot of great content because 10 or 15 percent, I have no clue how to gauge this, are being needy little entitled children.

Hopefully just maybe.......bethesda get this smoothed out. I have no problem sharing to both console and PC. I kinda wonder sometimes if the way bethesda advertised mods to console gave people a entitled attitude about it and the fact that this so new official patches need to be put out and we all know how quick they are at doing that

I haven't looked at bethesda's side of things, but from what I'm hearing here, they need to start enforcing "begger's bans" and start banning people that start begging for mods. Bunch of silver spoon type characters from the sounds of things. And the theifs? same thing. Unless they can prove their innocence they should get the ban hammer.

If you could see file reports or just join the chat for awhile and realize how many "PC master race" people make the same mistake.

The inability to RTFM is most definitely not a console user trait, it is a universal one all around.

Too true, I work in IT and it's amazing how often people don't read the manuals or even the readme or the quickstart guide (what do you mean this won't work if I don't have dotNet 4.5 or SQL Express or MS VC++2010 etc). I console gamed for awhile and I think part of the problem is console games these days have an annoying tendency to not even come with a manual. They skip that whole deal send people to a tutorial.
