PC maintainance completed, 7.1 sound system recal'd and optimised for max impact, dosh has departed, Skyrim is pre loaded and all is in readiness..

All of these fans are set at low speed and the rig is very quiet even under load.

Pretty nice setup, though I still prefer sitting at a desk. When i'm right infront of the monitor it feels more "in the zone" than 5 or 6 feet away. The D2x is a great soundcard, I have it driving a 5.1 system over optical using Dolby Digital Live.

I've had quite few operations so I get very uncomfortable sitting at a desk, when gaming that chair and footstool get pulled right in front of that screen and the chair reclines so I can adopt my normal sack of spuds gaming position and I only need to move to accept food and drink when delivered by one of my courteous housemates :thumbsup:

This is my sanctum. Coffee maker, noodles and a minifridge to hold soft drinks. DYI cigarettes and i little bit of Jameson on the side. The PC is a standard HP pavillion with a 1080p 23" monitor.

The specs are: Intel i5 quad 3,2 GHz, 6 GB ddr3 ram, Nvidia GT 420.

In Denmark the game will unlock at 1 am due to it being gmt+1 and following the London release time. but i plan on staying up and waiting, while watching the demos and rolling cigarettes while crying in anticipation. i am really, really hyped. like really.
