  1. Not working for me either  Edit: Working again :)
  2. Mine too, and my username changed. But they've sorted it, only thing still wonky is my missing kudos so a big thanks to the Nexus Team :)
  3. Yup, just fired up my rig and all the ccBSA files just downloaded to my hard drive, not opted in to any beta's either. They sure made a mess of this one.
  4. Bit of a weird one, last played Skyrim a couple of weeks ago and everything was fine yet last night all the outdoor shadows were just not there, nothing has changed mod or pc wise and I even deleted all content, deleted the game folder from inside Steamapps and deleted the ini files from the mydocs/mygames folder and then let Steam do a complete fresh install and ran the game with no mods thinking yeah, that'll fix it. Snarf, it was exactly the same. Graphics card is a Sapphire HD7970 Vapor-x 6gb with the latest drivers so don't think that could be at fault and all other games are running fine. Got me stumped, has Beth done somnething mad with a patch while I wasn't looking, any ideas folks ?
  5. Exactly, any prospective buyer will take a look at the mess and walk (quickly) in the other direction. Their website states closed for maintenance, is that what they call it these days ? http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/M4rt/GameSplash.jpg

  7. Rest in peace Adam, thank you for the worlds that you gave us to play in.
  8. Just spotted this: Game.Co.Uk in financial difficulties. If you have any downloadable games to download from them it may be advisable to get them downloaded and backed up, just in case. http://tech.uk.msn.com/features/whats-happening-with-game

Just got back from the vets, she's had the drain tubes removed and the wound is healing nicely says the vet. The test results on the tumors are back and the good news is that they were just fatty tissue and not malignant so she's in the clear

Yup She's currently laid flat on her back, all four legs in the air with an ice pack on her belly, been there for 20 minutes now. At the vets last night for her check up, the vet said the wound looked a bit inflamed and to try and cool it with an ice pack or a bag of frozen peas, I thought Faye would be off like a shot as soon as she felt the cold of it but I was wrong and she loves it. We're back at the vets tomorrow teatime to have the two drains removed from her abdomen which should make her more comfortable. Biggest problem I've got is keeping her from charging about, she normally attacks life at full throttle and she's still trying to do so and I'm scared she's going to pull her stitches etc. She'll be heading to sit at the door soon as my housemate is due in from his late shift shortly and she knows that means the treats tin will be opened and scooby snacks all round. Looks like she's had enough of the ice pack as she's just stood up and brought it to me so I better go put it back in the freezer ready for next time. If she thinks she's getting mollycoddled like this when she's better, she's got another thing coming but then again, I'm as soft as a brush so she probably will be. Thanks again for the kind comments all.

  17. There is no middle ground. If you want something then pay for it. If you can't afford it then you can't have it. If you take something without paying for it you have stolen it. If you steal something you are a thief.

Had a similar thing happen to us a while ago while on the beach (I live on the coast) but it was me that got the fish hook when I grabbed a stone to chuck for the dogs, it went in deep and I couldn't get the dratted thing out till I got home and attacked myself with a pair of long nose pliers. Faye has a check up at the vets tonight and may be getting the drain tubes removed from the op site, which is good news as she being doing her damnedest to get at them and then complaining loudly when she doesn't succed because of the conehead collar, which I might add is currently being used to wreck the house now that she's a bit more mobile. Have to wait till next week for test results on the tumors to see if they were malignant or benign, fingers and everything else crossed and hoping for good news on that one. I better go and check what she's up to as I can't hear her clattering about which means she's asleep or trying to eat her bed.

And here she is up and about with her mate Cookie, can't believe the difference a few hours has made. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/M4rt/IMAG0058.jpg

Well she's had a good sleep and I laid on the couch and watched her breathing, the difference in her since she woke up this morning is astounding, she had a quick drink and then sat at her food bowl waiting for a bit of breakfast as she usually does. She's now trying to navigate her way round the house but thanks to that big collar she's wrecking the place, so she's been renamed Conehead the Barbarian. A friends come round to look after her for a while so I can get some shuteye so I'm gonna crawl into my pit for a couple of hours. Thanks again all for your kind words.

Thanks guys. She's had a bad couple of hours, think her anesthetic fully wore off and she had a lot of pain as she cried and cried, got hold of the vets and they sent some strong painkillers round for her. They seem to be doing the trick as she's quietened down and even taken a little food (good sign) and she's now having a kip, I'm gonna get sprawled on the couch and see if I can do the same after spending a bit of time with my other dog Cookie (chocolate lab) as she's pretty confusled and doesn't understand whats going on.

My beautiful black lab Faye had to go in for an operation today to remove three growths from her abdomen, turns out they were deeper than the vet thought and it was a tough operation. Picked her up at teatime and she's a very poorly girl, I'm currently sprawled on the floor next to her bed with my keyboard as she starts to cry as soon as I move away from her, I wish I could take her pain. Life is very unfair sometimes, she's been through enough, beaten half to death with a peice of timber by her previous owner, it took 7 months to get her well again (his other two dogs had to be put to sleep) and now this. Gonna be a long night. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/M4rt/IMAG0054.jpg

  24. Over intrusive DRM, yep that's the way to go. That won't bother legit customers one bit. They won't mind having to jump through hoops to install and play the game. They won't mind having to use third party software. They won't mind having to fork out for constant high speed Internet access. They won't mind us mining their hard drives for personnal information. They won't mind us making a balls up of their registries. They won't mind paying top dollar for games because we waste so much of our resources on coming up with this nonsense that we have to hike the prices of our games. No, they won't mind that one bit, but wait, what ? Where did all our customers go ? It must be the pirates, we need more DRM Intrusive DRM, creating new pirates everyday.
  25. Is it really still called modding when using a CK? Cute. There are some semantic difficulties with the words "modding" and "modder." Many people consider the word "modder" to mean "mod-builder." An amateur programmer sort of person who uses software like the CS, Blender, NifSkope, GIMP and a bunch of other programs to add new content to the game or else make changes to the game. This new or changed content is then packaged so that any gamer can install it without any skill at building new content or using these software programs. Some people use the word "modder" to describe anyone who installs and plays mods that they download. I would describe these people as "gamers" rather than "modders," but what do I know? Agreed Modders make mods. Mod users use mods.
