Hi TheLastWitcher and thanks for the reply.

I watched your video and what it looked like to me was, you just chose to use most of the options from the modExtendedHUD code to fix the compatibility problems that could not automatically be fixed in script merger.

And it also looked like you just had the two mods your modFriendlyHUD and the modExtendedHUD installed, so I only had those two mods in the mods folder to do the script merger checking. So I set my mod folder the same way, just the modFriendlyHUD and the modExtendedHUD mods.

When I used script merger and it could not auto fix the compatibility issues, I chose the modExtendedHUD items which were in the B window of script merger (as shown in your video) and all issues were fixed and merged.

When going through the modFriendlyHUD options I ran into this error shown in the image I have attached.

Thanks again

I only re-merged the Extended HUD and Friendly HUD files because they were relevant for the video. Adding other mod's files would only add more conflicts. That menu bug looks like a localization issue, make sure your w3strings files and bin folder from Friendly HUD are up to date. In other words the bug is not there because of the merging.

Hi again,

In my case custom non-gog installer (don't like wrappers) install location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\mods\modFriendlyHUD\content\en.w3strings

I could not figure out how to use the w3strings encoder-v0.3.3.zip-1055-0-3-3 to view and search for the error text string.

Error from picture:

##option_fhud_markersDisplayMode ##preset_value_markersDis

(bin folder from Friendly HUD are up to date)

This is the version I have installed:
modFriendlyHUD for patch 1.21-365-10-3 version: 10.4 17:13, 7 June 2016

===============

I did this:

UsePlaceholdersForMissingStrings = true

In the file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base\localization.ini

And Now the error is not shown, but it's still there in the code I suppose.

Thank you for your time and patience!
