Deleted4363562User
So if I duplicate a cell and want to duplicate its location also, how do I that? I've duplicated a cell already, but don't see any options to duplicate its original location so that the duplicate cell doesn't use the original location. Deleted4363562User
Hahaha. I think I found it. I'm guessing you go under...."location" in the main list in the object window...
Deleted4363562User
Well, I'm having trouble figuring out how to add Loc Ref Types to the duplicate cell now. I also can't seem to get the duplicate cell to use the the duplicate location.
BlahBlahDEEBlahBlah
You don't add things into the "Location Ref Types" tab directly. You add things into the cell, and when they are set up correctly, they show up in the aforementioned "Location Ref Types" tab. As for the duplicate location? You don't see it when Cell View>Your Cell>Edit>Location dropdown? Good question: What is your expected end result? Are you trying to make a settlement, a quest location, etc? What are you trying to accomplish when all done? Edit: You'll almost assuredly need an Encounter Zone also, so might as well get that out of the way (you didn't mention it, so just sayin'). You don't see it when Cell View>Your Cell>Edit>Location dropdown? I ended up getting it to work, but I had to set the interior cell data to "no Reset zone". I'm trying to imitate GreaseMonkey's Home Plate mod that duplicates Home Plate in order to make it behave like a normal settlement. I figured that the loc ref types were based on objects already in the cell, but I don't know how and why they show up. In his mod, the three doors to Home Plate don't show up in the loc red type menu of the duplicated location, but in mine they do.
