Hello!

 

New here, so it seemed prudent to say hello and introduce myself!

 

I'm Judge Upstroke, I do the ska, and when not doing the ska, I sometimes play video games. When I have time to play a game, I'm usually playing Fallout New Vegas, but I've done most everything I care to do, and am getting bored. Imagine my joy when I found this place! I'm looking forward to messing around with the mods and improving my gaming experience, as well as maybe engaging in this community!

 

I do have one question. I've only briefly skimmed the forum, and I imagine I can find the answer with a bit more scouring, but if I'm playing Fallout New Vegas for PC, and I apply a mod (let's say this one for example), is Steam going to give me a hard time about my modding the game? I'd hate to lose my progress or the game... Feel free to just point me towards the answer if it's posted here somewhere already!

New Vegas on PC is a steam only game, no matter where you bought it you will need Steam do play it. Just wanted to point that out.

 

To answer your question:

Steam does not have any impact on how you install mods or their use. The only change is that New Vegas is installed in Steam>Steamapps>Common>NewVegas.

I couldn't wait, and just started adding mods and so far so good! It's nice to have something new to do in NV!
