sankojin
I need help with my mod that I am making. I finally am able to get my weapon into the game but when I hit someone with the sword the blood shows where the original blade used to be. My sword has a pretty curved blade and because of this the blood is floating in front of it. Any ideas of how I can fix this? If this question has already been address please point me in that direction. I have googled it and searched this forum with no luck.
ArekkusuStorm
I believe you need to make a new collision mesh, which is only achievable if you have a copy of 3DS Max 2013 and the official Bethesda nif plugin for it. Any idea if i can do it in blender or Maya 2016? I have maya and that is what i use the most. Not to sure how to use blender as i just got it to help with putting my mesh into the game. Couldn't figure out how to use it so ended up not. I do have a nif plugin for maya 2016 though.
dazzerfong
Nah, it's not that. There's an 'invisible' mesh that is actually just a model of your sword with special flags. http://i.imgur.com/inGhHuy.jpgSo, copy the stuff from the highlighted top left to your duplicated blade mesh. Then, change 14 to 15 in 'Flags'. Blood should then disappear. Edited June 12, 2016 by dazzerfong

Do i need to copy the branch of node 7 and than paste that branch into my mesh? Im not sure what you mean by copy the stuff to your duplicated blade mesh. I am using a sword that I got off the nexus as a reference for my nif. I figured it would be easiest to use that as it was very close to my sword. He already has a 15 in the flag block and when I change it to 16 I can then see the old blade in yellow. I do not think this is what you meant.
