loveme4whoiam
that falil was HUGE Right on (dude), that thing was massive. Slight over-kill (hey, a pun.) there if you ask me. I was torn between Legolas and Aragorn. Legolas because of his stunt in ROTK, and Aragorn (which i chose) because he is a very deep character, and is one of the true "heros" of literature and film. Should have picked Eowen (bad sp) though. Miranda Otto is damn fine... er, excuse me. Lots control of myself there.
Ancalagon
My fav character would be either Legolas, Aragorn, or Elrond. After reading LotR I was so interested about the Elves (because so little was said about their history and origins in the books, save the appendices, so I went out and bought the Silmarillian) because of Legolas and Aragorns relationship, and Aragorns relationship with Elrond and just about all the other Elves as well...And simply put, Elrond is an awsome character. I also want to know anything and everything on the Elves. Which is why I would have to pick Elrond.

Kethruch
For me , the choice is Aragorn, possibly the most complex of the characters. He is pulled several different ways, and things always seem to go bad and conflict arises every time he tries to be a follower instead of the leader he was meant to be. Eventually, he is thrust into the leadership role with the fall of Gandalf (my 2nd favorite character), and the more he embraces the role, the better things get. I like Gandalf because he is the ultimate leader, even as Gandalf the Grey. Things get done, not because he orders people around, but because they respect him and he respects them. Even though he has great power, he only uses it it times of dire need, trusting in his team to get done what needs to be done, helping them grow instead of doing the easiest thing and doing it himself. OddGuy
i love gandalf; ian mclellan plays him wonderfully, but i've got to go with legolas. that stunt he pulled at helm's deep was really stupid, but i just love him in the beginning of the warg rider scene in two towers, and his little 'trick' with the oliphaunt in ROTK. Eltiraaz
Legolas was a great character. And Orlando Bloom is a great actor. But, he carrys one facial expression the entire movie. kinda like that. I also see Faramir isnt on the list, hes on of my favorite. But on that list I'd have to say Aragorn. You cant not like Aragorn.. B)
