Chopping and Mining Animations won't work correctly in Skyrim.

I don't know where else to go for help. When I try to chop wood my character grabs a log puts it down on the chopping log or whatever it is and he goes to chop it but it goes to first person view and it the same way with the mining. I go to pick away then first person view. Like the heck is going/happening to my game? Please help. Thank you for you time.
