Cexor
Alright, I have been taking a break from the game for a long time and decided to come back and play it, I went in to the nexus site to get some new mods (I'm a mod hoarder) I got my nexus mod manager uppdated and after looking around and finding new stuff I got into skyrim to be met with a message saying that skse have a new update, I went ahead and downloaded it. Now whenever I get in to skyrim (trough skse) my mods I downloaded isin't working just the ones I had before my little break. I've been trying to search for old skse files and getting rid of them. Also, whenever I try to open skse through nexus mod manager, it opens the old skse but then gets all the mods working. The old one make it laggy and it isin't in the normal resoloution anymore. I don't understand what wrong, any ideas?I know my computer can handle it without any problems so it can't be that problem Edited June 12, 2016 by Cexor
Uncina
Did you install SKSE with the Manager or Manually?
Cexor
Manually, I didin't know you could install it with the manager, I knew you could open skse with it, but not that you could download it as a mod Edited June 12, 2016 by Cexor
Uncina
Exacly, that was the point.. So fine, manually. That's not the problem. When you come back to play did you start modding from a clean installation or from an old one already modded? What I'm thinking is this: If you have already a modded skyrim and you come back on it after a long time and just install new mods, it's possible have problems. You might have old mods not supporting new SKSE and viceversa. If they are still inside the game can not work at all. I'm try to get the point. Edited June 12, 2016 by Uncina
Cexor
I went ahead and made a new profile for nexus mod manager and ticked in the plugins I wanted (both old and new) Then when I started skyrim I made a new game to start over.Another question, Nexus mod manager sometimes untick almost all my checking in, I dosen't happend always but sometimes, it's really annoying since I don't remember everything I tick in, anyway to fix that?I didin't have any problems with any of the old mods just the new ones, They didin't work at all, no error message or anything ingame, it was as if they weren't installed, This haven't applied to just a few but all the new mods. An advice is read carefully the author description about Compatibility and Load order. In the wrong way makes a lot of problems. I also give you this link for outdates mod that can cause problems: https://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/523890681422555089/ Edited June 12, 2016 by Uncina
Cexor
I don't actually have any of those (except the immersive roads but it'd disabled) I found out that simply starting skyrim without skse on made it all work... which seems... wierd. But I don't mind since that solved the problem lol
