furbymurby
Aha! Gentlemen, you're all missing something! The most obvious will be the Witcher face and armors, and then it's Warhammer Online's Chosen armour. We all love to play as a Geralt, the womaniser and then a destructive 8-foot tall chum with spikes protruding out of his rather gargantuan shoulder-plates, while he carries a battleaxe that's the size of the world and he's more than willing to tackle any dragon that might drop in and have a cup of tea. Although my idea does sound ludicrous, it'll be a rather amusing addition to the world of Skyrim. Both do somehow fit in into the world of Skyrim and it's genre. socksftw
Well I want to see a Monster Hunter mod, for those that haven’t played the PSP or other console games of this series you are truly missing out. I rate it in my top 5 games of all time. I like you. Personally, I'm looking forward to a lot of player houses, extra weapons/armour and the like. I'm also hoping to see changes to the UI and font, which I'm not too fond of. Also, seeing as how there's no arena, I'd quite like to see some kind of underground brawling ring (which would suit Skyrim much better)!
Sillius
Having read that arrows will be in short supply, I would like a fletching mod (sort of like some that existed for Oblivion) that allows me to make regular arrows and enchanted arrows, but that makes the enchanted ones at least a moderate challenge. Specifically I would like to have to find and use alchemy ingredients to make the enchanted arrows and to have to break down weapons of higher grade materials to get arrowheads and shafts for the higher-grade weapons. So that, for instance, if I wanted glass arrows of ice, I would have to have all of the ingredients of a potion of frost damage, some arrowheads broken down from a glass weapon and some shafts broken down from an ironwood weapon (or gathered) plus enough alchemy and archery skill to make the item. So for instance one sword, one staff and some icy flowers or whatnot would yield a quiver of enchanted arrows. Also, I would like nice light armors that don't look like costumes. I mean black, brown, metallics and such that look like nicely tailored armor for the men and ladies that neither make them look like sex workers nor singers in a metal band. Also, invisible helmets or circlets and stuff that protect without defacing the character. Edit: Oh, yeah, and shields that appear to be off-hand weapons as well. Mud321
I would love to see what the vanilla game has to offer for a good while first. After that any eye candy texture/environment mods, the more environment mods the better! *Hopes for random lightning strikes  Also a simple mod to change the music that the townspeople play on lutes etc. to Classical Gas
jjk999
The very first mod I hope to download will be one that increases encumberance by x10. The second one will be to bypass the lockpicking minigame or give 100force chance based upon ability. Seperating grieves and curasses might be difficult. I think we need to see exactly what slots are available. I have a creeping dreadfull feeling that armor in skyrim might be like Fallout. Even if it is possible it might take a while to re make all the armors. I would love to see the Kit Rae Swords Avaquar and Mithrodin. Some truelly excellent dudes made them for oblivion but they were not so easy to find. Bobs armory had a terrific selection of zwiehanders. But I dunno if it would be appropriate for a vikingy setting. Similarly with Haydox's Rapier. However the Hessian Sword (the headless horsemans sword from the tim burton movie sleepy hollow) Auto loot would be usefull too. But it needs to have an auto trigger for when we enter owned buildings OR better yet to not work on owned items. That way we won't accidentally steal stuff from shopkeepers and make them mad at us. And if someone ports a fallout centaur and puts dragon wings on it I will poop myself.
jjk999
Some people have sugested that midas might have some trouble making spells but actually the system might allow for some amazing effects. A spell could be one effect in one hand and a different effect in the other but twirl around each other in double view. Think crossing the streams. If that is not possible then spells could be crafted with suffixes of Left or Right for which hand they go in so they can do pre planned combinations. Howver it might be possible to in the background make them seem like the same spell to the engine so when cast together the do a pre planned effect. Maybe i should start a diferent thread for spell ideas.
