NewmanLim
Here's one that I think it'll be easy enough for modders, I like to see changes in the way character grip 2 handed swords- the stance on how game character grip 2 handed swords, I want it to feel heavy so the sword should be tilted on one side(near touching the floor) in stead of 90 degrees upright~hope to see this in the near future once the CK is out! t55
*twitch* Oh gog don't even get me started. I want, nay, I NEED a necromancy mod. Or a technomancy mod. Or a demonology mod. Just SOMETHING to put me in command of a horde of mindless minions! My dream mod would be a merge between Real Time Settler and Enclave Commander. A mod where you are in command of Daedra, Undead, or Dwemer Constructs, and can found your own evil lair in the middle of nowhere, all the while building up your army of minions to lay siege to a Hold. Once the CK comes out, if nobody takes up the task, I'm gonna try my damndest to make such a mod, despite having zero experience in any kind of modding. i could include it in my dwemer mod if ya wanthttp://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/506865-skyrim-dwemer-mod/just post your ideas as a comment and i will write them down in my plan if i feel i have the know how
Epidocles
If this is already being implemented by a modder in progress, post a link, but I think it would be really cool to be able to reverse engineer armors and weapons. Break down swords and amors into basic metallic components. It'd make sense for leather to be somewhat unusable afterwards, since it's been stretched and worn with use. More realistic, maybe, would be the use of the workbench in breaking down weapons and armors, then melting them back down into ingots, before being able to reforge them into proper weapons or armors again. A new skill in the smithing tree could be created to reflect the character learning to reprocess all of the materials.
ClockworkKing
The first mod I'd like to see is something I personally want just because I am crazy about Legend of Zelda. I want to have a hair mod and a dress to match Zelda's outfit during the game. It's a small mod, but I have no modding skills, so I'd need help. Then I would say we need to explore the Aldmeri Dominion more. That seems like a kind of open-ended quest line. Maybe you get to actually fight a war against them? PolarBeorn
The mods that I liked the most in Oblivion, and later in Fallout 3 and New Vegas, were the player home mods. These games foster a lot of roaming around and I always liked the idea of having a home base where I could display treasures, meet up with friendly npcs, and generally role-play in my own head. I've seen some really good ones, especially in New Vegas with the underwater home and the hidden bunkers. But I do have an idea for a player headquarters mod that would be epic. A castle that starts out ruined and destroyed, that gradually gets larger and generally more pimped out as the game goes on. If anyone has ever played any of the Suikoden games they will recognize the concept. A modder would have to find a suitable place for the castle and surrounding outbuildings. Then build multiple versions of the castle, starting at ruined and going to livable, then restored, then adding things like towers, bed chambers, stores, a tavern, a storehouse, and any other goodies you can imagine. One could add NPCs as part of the mod to various locations in the world who could be recruited to add special services. They would move in with their families. The place could eventually become its own town in the world. With radiant story and dragon attacks thrown in, could be pretty epic. I think the nature of Bethesda's open world, go anywhere do anything play-style make hunting down upgrades for your very own castle town a blast. And I'm always excited to see what the mod community comes up with as far as player conveniences. Fallout saw some neat gizmos like equipment sorters and display walls. I'm a sure a suitable fantasy version of those gizmos could be substituted. Though I'm not a modder myself, I do appreciate all the hard work that goes into making them. So thanks to all you guys and gals who make great games even better. Much love  How about rebuilding Helgen to based on your ideas. The town is pretty much wasted after the start of the game, just waiting to be rebuilt
pastafrola
Easier inventory browsing:-Different categories for beneficial potions and poisons.-Also a new category for soulgems and for smithing stuff. A more challenging stealth gameplay:With a few stealth perks or illusion spells the game becomes too easy, even on Master difficulty. You can just steal and kill everything without effort. Picking up items, interacting with doors, chest, etc could alert enemies. More body styles:Fat skinny tall and short people would add variety and realism  Player traps:A crafting option at forges and laying action, to match the rune spells. They could be physical damage with the possibility of adding poison from your inventory. Edited December 25, 2011 by pastafrola

AlexBiohazardous
I would really like to see a Thalmor vs Imperial mod where you can take whichever side you like (or by default join the aldmeri dominion if you are an elf or the empire if you are a human). There are Thalmor juristicians walking down the road with prisoners, why not go beyond that? I was hoping something like an invasion of the elves starting from markarth and the empire calling to arms!Of course this story would be available after all the stormcloaks were vanquished. Edited December 27, 2011 by AlexBiohazardous
