A hunch about the Falmer

Have you read up on Skyrim lore lately, watched the old trailers, seen all three demos, viewed all the great concept art? Has it still not dawned on you like a sack of bricks that the Falmer are back and in an epic way. You're probably saying to yourself smugly "idiot, we know this already, been confirmed". Yes this is true but while under an "alchemical influence" I started connecting the dots. Checky here, the trailer has a dragon unfreezing/reviving from a rock/glacier when it opens it's eyes, proclaiming that no one wanted to believe but that they're truly back. Ask yourself who would come back to Skyrim to wreck havoc and fight, cue jeopardy song, the Falmer! The Falmer were driven out/under by the Nords. Either the dragons are a vessel, an ally, a reincarnation or an awaken form/state of the Falmer. No doubt the Falmer are in on this. They seek revenge for losing their land and I'm sure the Nords have not forgotten this, but it would be a cool dynamic if some have and some have not as in the case of the Riverwood scene where the mom believes but the child thinks she is crazy. Hence old wisdom vs inexperienced youth. The recent "making of Dvd" depicting what may be Falmer with either adorned ritualistic feathers or actual growing feathers and casting fire was icing on the cake. Call me crazy but I wanna hear your view on this.... Edited by RonnieWoo2You

Yes I had a similar theory some months ago, the falmer might come back to reclaim their land and take advantage of the skyrim´s civil war, and the dragons could be taking advantage of the falmer to use them as their army.

Have you ever considered that besides joining either the Rebels or the Empire, we may be able to align ourselves with the Falmer, the true natives of Skyrim. Evil roleplayers would bow to Bethesda as minion if this were possible.

Don't regret it as if it's gospel, just consider this a dabbling into the intrigue, i'm sure the plot will have it's surprises that none of us expect.

theory or not, there sure is some awesome mod potential here.

You all must be aware by now how Bethesda love to keep lot's of things 'up their sleeves' to surprise us all. I wondered why they weren't showing the intro (which we all saw for Oblivion, at least where you are in the cell and meet the emperor ) so I think there will be plenty of gob smacking surprises in store for us all in this wonderful tale that will enfold next week.
