SirFrank114
After much trial and error, I found I have some major conflicts between my OBSE, keyboard extenter. My OOO esp mod, and the animation fixer ( see my topic below) Seems I can't incorperate more than two of these and still play the game. While I can live without my keyboard extender or the colors of my potions, I can not live with slow, sloow, slooooooow animation. I'm about ready to reinstall everything and try to load up my last saved game. Any ideas out there?
AlfredTetzlaff
Hi,Your mod problems sound a lot like UAC Issues. Did you install Oblivion to the default path in "Program Files", if so reinstalling is the right Idea.Make sure to use another path, something like c:\games\oblivion. Check out BBens Guide for the proper reinstall procedure. But (there is always a but :) ), reinstall will not fix your animation problem on that particular save game. So if you still having problems with that Animation Fixer, try Wrye Bash instead. To do so, open Wrye, go to the saves tab, right click on your save and choose "repair A-Bomb". Hope this helps

Hope this helps Well, I did a complete reinstall. Started a new charater, level 1, from the beginning and added in the mods a little at a time. By save game 10, I tried using the animation fixer again. Guess what? LOCKUP AGAIN!!! :verymad: So, I went back to my level 25 game. Used the fixer, then removed all mods that were not essential before reloading it. Everything was working. I then saved to a new slot. Then exited the game, and reinstalled the mods I had removed. Restarted my "FIXED" saved game and it worked! I'm still having problems closing (exit). Everything locks up, every time, with the message " Oblivion has stopped working " I'm going to start a new trend with this problem. This one I can live with. I really didn't want to lay my avatar to rest and his ton of stuff.
MotoSxorpio
Try Oblivion Stutter Remover and FastExit.
