HatterMaster
Okay, so i want to use the mesh of the .44 revolver as a base for a new weapon, but when i look in the FONV data files under mesh, the only ones are ones added by mods. Does anyone have any idea where on earth these are, as I'm totaly lost here? Thanks a bunch for any advice, I'd hate to post such a silly thing here and clog up the forum, but online tutorials arnt helping me find it >.<
bethjunkie
You'll need to extract it from the Fallout - Meshes bsa using FOMM. The BSA unpacker is at the top under Tools.

HatterMaster
Yes a double post but I didn't want to slap another thread on here when this one is still on the first page, so hopefully this can be overlooked, if not i appologise Okay, so iv found the nifs, saved a copy of the one i want to play with in a folder and downloaded the newest version of blender, but when i try to install blender nif scripts it tells me to i dont have blender. Will I have to download a dated version of blender to use the nifs? Sorry for the noobie question but spending a few hours trying to open the file is annoying for a one minute botch job just for a rough demo
HSovieticus
Err. You need to learn how to research things. I know it isn't fun. But you will only get so far if you rely on other people for the solutions. At any rate, and if i remember correctly, the solution to your problem should be in the nifscripts readme. If not, then it will be in the nifskripts wiki. NifScripts is not compatible with the latest version of Blender. Use 2.49b.
