horouboi
as te title says, i can't sleep or wait and if i do it for more than a hour (in-game) i crash to the desktop. i've tryed to find if a mod could be my problem and i've almost taken out all the mods i have and nothing changes, so i tryed searching for other cases like this and found a few that talk about the in game timer and how the person with the problem had screwed with the timer but i haven't ever done that since i didn't even knew it existed.... can i get some help? i'm really into new vegas for pc and really don't want to go back to my ps3 version :'( Edited November 4, 2011 by horouboi
Lisnpuppy
Sometime the autosave makes the game get stupid like that. I have no idea if this is your case however...Try this, turn off the auto-save feature and delete the auto-save from your game. Then restart your game and try to rest/wait. See if that helps. I usually turn off the auto-save, quick-save of the Fallout games. Hope it helps.
horouboi
nope, turned off all the auto's (save after ect) and deleted my autosave *thankfully the ps3 version taught me to save frequantly* did all that and then loaded a save and got the same result, wait more then 1 hour and back to desktop and error message with no answer. wait, i just though of something, earlier today *last night actually* i was trying to figure out why cass still had her outfit even though i made it playable and took it out of her inventory, maybe that has something to do with this... but i had a good 4,5 hours after that before it started this stuff. can't remember the last time i waited without this happening before that problem or before i updated the "humping the mojave" but the problem happens even if i take hump out of play so i doubt thats the issue.... should i try restalling new vegas? or even try playing the game with no mods and see if its the game itselfs? edit: just tried to play with no mods and the problem ain't there, so i'm guessing its a mod or mods? but i've got the same mods i had for the last 2 days i think, so i have no idea what one it could be... guess i'm off to go try and find out -_- any more idea's would be great, i'm a total newb to pc gaming lol edit3?: found out it was a old companion mod, sad to find out but hey atleast i can now travel the mojave :D thx again lisnpuppy for helping me out Edited November 4, 2011 by horouboi
