RevanGrad
I jsut read that there are 280 perks in skyrim! thats awesome I love perks its one of my favorite things about levling up. However you can only pick 75 perks per playthrough and that just IS NOT enough for me im assuming that the lvl cap is 75 and you can pick a perk every level so what I would like to see is a mod that double or maybe even quadrouples the amount of perks u get each level. I say quadrouple because then you it would take 4 play throughs to pick every perk although this is a bit much for me so double would be awesome. Two perks a level giving you 150/280 perks per play through I would love to see this mod it will be my top priority to find one since I am not proficient with scripting and dont think i could make one myself. I want to do the same but I am afraid of unbalancing the game horribly... The idea I came up with is pretty similiar to some ideas i had with another area of subject with Skyrim... Basically, there is a crafting skill for each area of specialization- Combat, Magic, Stealth- Smithing, Enchanting, Alchemy so my idea is- For every 2 levels, you get a dedicated crafting only perk(the regular ones would still be possible to spend on crafting) this would net you 75 perks by lvl 50,.. 25 of which are in crafting. Of course, the crafting skills might need a few added perks in order to not end up with unspendable perk points.and the main effect? you can enjoy crafting skill perks in at least one or two tree's without spending your main perks, which would get used for more combat oriented perks. I feel it'll be mostly balanced as well- since crafting skills would take away from combat effectiveness normally, which seems kinda odd since Bethesda took out most other things that could cause someone to make a 'bad' character
jen3ss
I think that "double perks" will be the easiest quick fix, but it could easily unbalance the game if you use them the wrong way.I like the idea of separating the crafting perks, You could get 2 perks every level, 1 specifically for crafting skills and one for combat skills. I don't know if it is possible, but you would need to ID the perks and trees with "Crafting" and "combat". In the long term I would like to see/make a mod that completely changes the way perks are awarded, the biggest problem would be keeping the game balanced, you don't want to be "god" by level 50. Superrpgman
Ok, this might be a stupid idea, but it's something I happened to think of. Maybe, depending on your race like in D&D, you can start with an extra feat..er, perk, or in this case 2 perks. Well, you don't start with one with one. hmm. OK, this idea needs work. ... My main idea is this, Maybe every 5 levels, you can choose 3 perks that you could at level 1, Level 10 3 perks you could at level 5 or lower, and level 15 3 perks you could at level 10 or lower, and so on. In the end, you'll have 123 perks. Maybe make level 25 and 50 give 4 instead of 3, and you'll end up with 150 perks.
Hnyakwai
How about getting extra perks for completing in-game objectives? You could even tie them to a specific guild. ie each time you get a rank in the fighters guild you would get one "perk training point" to get a combat perk from the connected trainer. It can prob be done without interfering with any quest altering mods also.just have a single script read your quest stages and update.

Lyanheart
Good idea, adding perk "points" to quest rewards. Otherwise, I was just going to say use the console to award yourself extra perks instead of making a mod that does it for you. I mean, why is consoling yourself a perk cheating but modding extra perks is not?
gretzky99
I would rather just see a mod that adds 200 new perks you could choose from. As they say, THE MORE, THE MERRIER.
