LootJunkieAzza
Hey guys just wondering if you think that old mods are going to be compatible with the remaster, I think its likely but if the engine gets replaced im not too sure fron there :/ let me know what you think
MadTod
I was wondering the same thing, I'm currently working on the ultimate, awesome, perfect, everything-I-want-in-a-player-house, player house for myself. I started the project almost 2 years ago, I really don't want to start over. I'm sure there will be more information at a later date, though. Thallassa
It's been confirmed for PC. https://bethesda.net/#en/events/game/skyrim-special-edition-unveiled-for-ps4-xbox-one-and-pc/2016/06/12/145 https://twitter.com/BethesdaStudios/status/742194847101095936 https://twitter.com/DCDeacon/status/742200606530506752 Note that dx11 has been... for all intents and purposes... confirmed... as XBOne doesn't run DX9 games. (People saying that the volumetric lighting is proof have clearly never run ENB :P ) Note that a full port to the FO4 engine has not been confirmed, but seriously, if you see confirmation of that anywhere, let me know. LootJunkieAzza
even though the remaster is free to legendary owners i don't want it if mods aren't going to work.
Elias555
It'll work if they don't want to feel the wrath of what happened last time they tried to fiddle with mods.
Shurtugal08
DX11 on its own is enough to warrant upgrading to Special Edition over the current version. If done right then that could improve modding in general. Allowing better performance with more mods than we currently see on the old DX9 implementation. I am sure bugs that haven't been officially fixed will be addressed. The improved standard graphics will be a nice jump. I mean I have no problem waiting for mods if they need some reworking to be compatible with special edition. However as it stands we have very little information to work with in determining mod compatibility and such. We should see more info pop up in the coming months before its launch about how stuff will work.

Rallik
Now would be a good time for the Nexus modding community to pull together and get F4SE, havoc physics, and animations sorted out in Fallout 4.
