No harm done, i chucked in a spare (without the second card) and all parts seem to be working fine. K. I found an 850w that is better. HellsMaster Posted November 8, 2011 Share Posted November 8, 2011 Dual Card set up (SLI, Crossfire, Hybrid PhysX) require a huge amount of power. Your old PSU (650) is right on for your single card but you risked a lot when you put a 2nd card in there. 850w is quite good but I would have suggested to go for 900+ still in any case. Cheap ones are not really suitable for sustained 900W, but only can withstand brief peaks of it.Moreover, if your PSU is not stable with voltages, you risk frying other components.
