PolarRatt
First off, let me start by saying that while i use the nexus for mods, i have never gone on the forums. I imagine you probably get a lot of threads like this one. If there is a rule against them i missed, or a more specific place, I sincerely apologize.So... I want to see whether i should get Skyrim for PC, or just settle for getting it on a console. My specs are: Processor: AMD Phenom 9600 Quad-Core processor, ~2.3GHz4 gigs of RAMATI Radeon 3200 HD with 1853MB of memoryIf there is anything else needed to help me out, i'll edit it in. Thanks! :) Edited November 8, 2011 by PolarRatt
Lt.Wolf
Here ya go. Search the forums. And honestly, yes you should get it for PC. You'll have mod support which will give you so much more content and graphical options that the Consoles can not. PolarRatt
Well, according to that the graphics card doesn't have enough memory. Seems like some people are being told that the 3200HD will run Skyrim though, so now i'm on the fence about whether or not to risk it...
Ygfbv
Your processor is *really* bad, GPU won't cut it either... You might be able to get it to run on low based on the requirements, but I really doubt it. >_<
JimboUK
You're really going to struggle with that GPU, you might be better off getting it on a console. That GPU is based on the 2400 but with lower performance thanks to the shared memory, the 2400 itself is listed as low/very low so your GPU is going to be no fun at all. PolarRatt
Well that blows. Thanks for the help guys, I guess i'll just go for PS3...I'm really gonna miss those mods, they did unbelievable things for the replay value of Fallout 3 :(
Korodic
In my personal opinion, you should look into a graphics card upgrade, which is absolutely worth it for this game. I'd be glad to help you find one in your budget if possible. I'm fairly knowledgeable in this field.
PolarRatt
That'd be really cool, but would it help enough? The other guys said my processor is crap too, would just a graphics upgrade cut it?

The CPU isn't great but put a decent card in there and you should be fine, you should however check your power supply is up to the job before paying out for a new card.
