chalayex
Hello! I have a problem that is driving me crazy. I can install all the mods I want, but only those who only change texture works. For example, I installed a mod that change the weight of junk, but didn't work, and searching in the mod's forrum i found that none is having that problem. I think that is a problem with my archives, because this happen with others mods (and they are update by the way) I don't know what to do. Please! Help me! SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH. Rabbit1251
Greeting, Chalayex. Welcome to the Nexus. Have you done this? "How to enable moddingNavigate to your Fallout 4 Folder at the following location "Documents/My Games/Fallout 4" Within this folder you'll find a number of .ini files. Open (or create, if missing) Fallout4Custom.ini with your favourite text editor (we use Notepad++). Add the following lines to your Fallout4Custom.ini [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= Save and close Fallout4Custom.iniThat's it, you're ready to get modding! :)" Here is a video if you prefer that: Here is a link to the Wiki that explains it all: http://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Fallout_4_Mod_Installation#How_To_Enable_Fallout_4_Mods The Rabbit

Yes, i already have those lines in my Custom.ini. This is happening since the 1.5 patch, and I tried everything I found, placing * in my plugin.txt and marking as "only read", adding de sResource line with and without the text after =, already verified cache on steam, and I don't remenber what else I tried. chalayex
I managed to "fix" it by deleting the Fallout4.ini, Fallout4Prefs.ini and Fallout4Custom.ini from my "My Documents/My Games/Fallout 4" dir and launching the game so the program could create the files again, then I added the bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= in the Custom.ini and finally works!!!! Thanks a lot!! I was going crazy!!
