Nexus site wont initiate downloads via "Download with Manager" Link

Hello,

 

As the title states, whenever I find a new mod I want to DL, if I use the "Download with Manager" link, the loading icon appears and nothing happens. It stays frozen the in the middle of the screen and no DL in progress on NMM. I am a premium user and only recently starting having this issue ( 11 days approximately). I thought it may have been on my end so: I have a clean install of both Fallout 4 and NMM(0.61.23). Ive used Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge to access the Nexus website and all 3 have had the same issues. I am on a clean network without using a vpn or port blocking.

 

I have found that I am able to DL via "Download manually" link and can then install with NMM but, NMM wont have a "Download ID #."

 

Just rather frustrating that I'm a premium user and can't use that service to DL via the "Download with Manager" Link.

 

 

Any thoughts would be much appreciated,

Have you checked to make sure that the browser is configured to associate nxm files, which are the file type that is downloaded to NMM, to Nexus Mod Manager? In Firefox go to options and select applications. Under content check if you see nxm. If so it should say under action Uce Nexus Mod Manager. If not then you need to make it so.

 

BTW you can do this for any browser but I only use Firefox so not sure the exact way to do in other browsers.

You are not alone. I started having the same issues just about the same time you did. I have written a number of times to Nexus but to date they have not released a fix. Hopefully they are working on this and will have it resolved soon.

Just an additional comment to the above. I also get the error that I need to login but when I do it says login is invalid. I am a member in good standing (at least I should be) so I don't know what that is all about.

Hope they can address this and get it fixed soon.

Thanks Royhr, I have found that although it was set under content to use NMM, simply changing it back to default and then back again to NMM has solved my issues. I have verifited using mulitple browers(Firefox, Chrome and Edge). Thanks again for all your help.
