makeyleth Posted June 15, 2016 Share Posted June 15, 2016 Ok I have been modding for awhile, i run a lot of mods, clothing, weapons, followers, animations like FNIS, etc. Just now I am having trouble, when i saved the game and turned the computer off to go somewhere, I came back only to say the game save was out of date and wouldnt let me load it. When I loved a previous save all the NPC's were stuck in a static pose and would not move even when talked to, can anyone help me? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

iXenite Posted June 16, 2016 Share Posted June 16, 2016 Wait. You loaded the game up, and saved inside Helgen, and then decided to load the game up with mods!? That is not how it works. I'm sorry. It's time to delete those saves. Consider them broken at this point. Did you even get your hand unbound before you saved? It sounds like you didn't. That section is filled with scripts that must fire off in order to carry out the Vanilla opening sequence. It makes modding a little harder as a few of them conflict with that opening. You can either use an Alternate Start mod to start somewhere other than the Vanilla opening sequence, or, you can send me your load order and I will attempt to figure out what may be giving them problems. By the way. When these characters are "static" are they in the T-Pose? If so, make sure you have installed FNIS properly and have run FNIS properly. That is typically an animation problem. iXenite Posted June 24, 2016 Share Posted June 24, 2016 Are you sure you ran FNIS recently? I still can't believe that didn't help. I would check all of your animation mods (by looking at the mod page) and make sure you're using mods that compatible. I really think this issue you're having is an animation one. Did you uninstall animation mods recently? If you did, you need to run FNIS. FNIS needs to be run every single time you install an animation mod or uninstall an animation mod. Other than that, nothing is screaming at me as being wrong. I'd have to invidually look each mod up if I were to find out if something else was wrong. Trying to save myself the trouble here to be honest. Also, I would get the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch. Consider making a bashed patch as well. So, get Wrye Bash. EDIT: Never mind. You don't need any programs like WinRAR for WryeBash. The executable is not inside an archive file like I thought. Just download the file and open the executable.
