madman132
Beuatiful City there, do you plan to make a "Park" Area? Maybe around that "Chorrol"like Tree in the middle of town where People could meet to discuss exciting news about Mudcrabs :D
assin001
there could be a new guild to do with the dragons to teach people how to use them and train with them.
Triforce1
The dragons are limited to the riders (no new creative name yet). There are seven, color-coordinated. A Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Teal, Blue, and Purple Rider, each dressed in, riding a dragon of, and generally associated with their color. There will be at leat one of each race (except for Argonian, Khajiit, and Orc) and at least one female rider. The lead rider will be the green, and the player (being the Dragon Master) will be given either a white or Black dragon based on infamy. There will be a "guild" of sort's which consists of construction workers and mages; they are responsible for the city and keeping it floating in the air. There is already a small "park" around the Temple, but there will be a large "nature preserve" walled in (so I can use "dirt" off the middle tier. In fact, there will be an old guy with a quest who lives in the tree and is obsessed with how great it is. He is always talking about how "his" tree is better than all the others, particularly the Great Oak in Chorrol. I didn't just make that up, either; the Cat and I came up with that about a month ago. Great to talk to you guys again!
Triforce1
Okay, this is the city at around 35% completion. As you can see, the Rider's Compound is finished. Here's how things are layed out: On the lower tier, the Great Temple of Akatosh is on the left with it's small gardens. The meeting area and marketplace is the round area there on the right, around the Tower. On the upper tier, the left has the Rider's Quarters and Dragon Stable. The left holds the Council Hall, which at present has no inside but will look like an altered Elder Council Chamber. Coming soon are:Residential AreaNature PreserveGuild and Upper Class AreaMarketplaceGuard Compound and JailDragon Master's Quarters Should anyone come up with anything else, please let me know. As for now:
Triforce1
Okay, progressing along steadily; to about 43%. The residential area is complete, and I've put a "magic" Ayleid stone floor under everything. In the lore, it is these enchanted stones that keeps the city aloft. The original Ayleid magic has now faded, but a new guild (joining will be a manditory part of the Main Quest) has masons and mages whose jobs are to keep the city aloft and to build new areas. In a reference to the above picture, it is on the lower tier, on the back opening of the circle plaza. It is moderate size, leaving room for about 20 NPCs to live there. It is a compound made of IC block houses that will have a garden in its center (small, so as not to take away from the nature preserve). Next, I will build the guild and upper class area, a walled in area so that there can be dirt on the floor. I'm still open to suggestions. It seems like everyone has vanished... madman132
Im here :D If you plan to use Mages to keep the city in the Sky, you may make them "stir" the City around. Biggest "Mount" in Mod History :D "Your City has been stabled outside the City gates." o_O Forget that, stupid Idea :D
Triforce1
Okay, well, while you're still here, got any good ideas? You know, possible additions and things like that. Particularly construction elements, things I can work on at present.
LoginToDownload
The bridges look sort of strange, the arches going into nothingness... Perhaps you could cap off the bottom? It also might look better if the "modules" were connected a bit more, perhaps with pillars...
Triforce1
Sorry, that pic is now out of date. See a new one at the bottom of this post. I did cap the bottom, as you will see. Also, modules? Waht do you mean? If you mean the tiers (at least the central round plazas) then I do have plans for connective pillars. Thanks, and good to see you again. Anything else is very welcome. The updated picture of the city, complete with new living area. Oh, and disregard the purple boxes; I had to reinstall all my Oblivion components and this will take a little sorting out. dra6o0n
Hmm, maybe someone can introduce a Dragon-men class, Its like reusing the Argonians and giving them small wings (maybe they are from an ancient race, and lost the ability to fly?).Make sure they don't look like Lizards and more Dragon-like (Maybe someone can do dragon armors?)
