OneArmed
I have one-arm and have tried to map mouse-buttons on a Razer Diamondback and Micrsoft Trackball explorer. Both have so-called programmable buttons.I can usually successfully setup run/auto-run to a mouse-button so I can use the mouse-look plus auto-run to move around the world in games. This does not work in Skyrim. I remember difficulty in Morrowind and Oblivion also. If I test the setup in notepad, the mapped button sends the keystroke as expected, but in game it does nothing, and using the control options doesn't help either. Can anyone help me please? yourrmother
I know this isn't any help, but I have the same issue as yourself. Cannot map the side buttons on my Diamondback to do anything in Skyrim. I think it's going to need a patch.
Deleted463689User
You can try a different program to remap your mouse button. Like "X-Mouse Button Control". Just google it. But a lot of people are having problems with the mouse support in Skyrim (including me). Try turning of vsync and uncheck the gamepad usage in your game options. Sirverik
X-mouse button control is one of the best pieces of software a gamer (and infinitely even more so a disabled gamer) can come upon. I suggest you check it out like z0mg suggested.
