BaalAdramelech
I think a Hardcore mode like New Vegas would be good; You need to drink, eat and sleep in game... Camp Equipments would be usefull with this... A camp fire (for cooking), a tent, ect.

A camp fire (for cooking), a tent, ect. 1+ I agree, to be honest i havnt found anything that has been challenging for me so far, I guess having the "NEED" to eat, sleep and other things would add to that, Lack of sleep before a battle would maybe slow you down, or some other effects! Abelius1
Same here. That was one of the first things I've dearly missed from NV.
NiKtheALiEN
I thought this would be in Skyrim given it was in Fallout. I'm dissapointed(if only a little) that its not.
AlterMann22
I think sleeping must be essential and meaningful. For example, "well rested" or "sleepless" state could affect your strength! But i am not sure about eating and drinking. I don't want to make game too complicated. First of all, "health regen" must be removed.
Tsukae
I also would like this. There is food all over the place and I see no reason to eat it. Also, with the new leveling system there is no longer a need to rent rooms to sleep. It really adds to the immersion just having to rent rooms every once in a while... Ka3m0n
FCOM for Oblivion implemented eating, sleeping and drinking really well (the FCOM Superpack did anyway). To prevent them from becoming intrusive or annoying, It requires adjusting the time rate, too. Ideally, the time rate as well as each of the requirements for food, drink and sleep would have player-adjustable settings. Etherella
Yes, I think we need to make up a list of what should be in a hardcore mod. 1. Rest, eating , drinking should be made essential for the player's condition. 2. Slow down health regeneration rate. 3. (optional) slow down mana regeneration rate.4. (this might be a little difficult to implement) Do not freeze time while browsing inventory.
Yan42
4. (this might be a little difficult to implement) Do not freeze time while browsing inventory. That would be a disadvantage for all playing with a controller, because we only have 2 / modded 3 hotkeys while keyboard+mouse players have 8 (?) . Kairo29
+1, I'd love to try a hardcore mode. Anything that makes miscellaneous items like food and stuff have more meaning is always a plus. I wonder what else could make an effective "hardcore" mode... walking around without shoes gives u blisters and negatively effects stats? lol jk :P
