ZweilousRage
It didn't for me :( I tcf'ed my game, just to see if I could see anything. I can see NPCs and rocks in between all the graphical chaos, but the problem is the ground, grass, and trees texture that's f*ing everything up. Palanai
The ini tweaks only make the stretching a little less frequent for me. As for the drivers, they dont support my legacy card, so I cant even try them. I remember that the same problem was eventually sorted out with an official patch for oblivion so it didnt even need the ini tweak any longer. Is it realistic to expect the thanksgiving patch to fix this? Does Bethesda even read these f***ing forums? Oh, I guess the barely-even-noticable texture problems on xbox (5 people are having) are more urgent.
maboru
I doubt that Beth has much time to read Nexus forums since their own forums are lit up like Christmas trees, however, I seem to recall the texture tearing issue with Oblivion could be corrected by capping your framerate. Use Vsinc to cap at 60fps or one of the mods to cap lower for the time being. Might help.

zoeJ
Hi guys, i could fix this for me: NOTEBOOKSONLY I GUESS, i have a hd6550 i had alle the above sympthoms, console: "tg" (toggle grass) and "tt" (toggle culling tree smth.) only helped a little on certain grass textures THEN: browsing in my notebookthread:http://forum.notebookreview.com/acer/561840-3820tg-owners-lounge-part-two-228.html#post8094853 SO:Install catalyst 11.11 from leshcat (maybe driver sweep ur thing before)http://leshcat.blogspot.com/2011/11/multix-catalyst-1111-unifl-for.htmllink for download is somewhere in the middle everything runs fine since then hope this helps some of you I installed that Leshcat thing. I don't even know what it is but I installed it anyway so I probably deserved what happened next.As of now, my laptop (HP dv6) is running 800x600 and says it has no drivers installed. It has a ATI Radeon HD 6770m which maybe wouldn't work with that leshcat thing, but I had no idea. Strangely, I'm finding it really hard to find drivers again. EDIT: Simply uninstalled, the leshcat whatever it was, and everything's back to normal. Could it be that that thing doesn't work with this graphics card? Edited December 1, 2011 by zoeJ
anlefaal
anyone know how to solve something like in the attached image? The spikes all originate at a central point and even attached to the character (visible when in 3rd person) Thanks in advance. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/27542457/Untitled.png
