cieraelizabeth Posted November 12, 2011 Share Posted November 12, 2011 I was wondering if anyone else was having issues with trying to save multiple characters? I share the game with my live-on boyfriend, and we were planning on playing our own separate characters, but when he went to save his file, he realized all there was were auto-saves and my file was completely gone. I saved as I always do, he even watched me save my game before turning it over to him. If there's any way any of you have found to fix this, please share!! JimboUK Posted November 12, 2011 Share Posted November 12, 2011 Use the console to make a back up save of your character before your boyfreind starts playing. Open the console with either ~ or ` (whatever is next to the 1 key) and type save filename (no spaces), that file should be safe from being overwritten.
