pra
Due to a bug in don't call me settler I now have a robot with an empty name, with the side effect that it no longer appears in the robot workbench. The only thing I found out through google is that this indeed happens if you rename a robot to " ". Is there any way to fix this? A console command, a mod, or even a savegame editor? Or, if everything else fails, how can I completely erase the robot via console? I would then just rebuild the robot, cheating in the needed resources... SuicidalSealFetus
I don't even use that mod and I get the same bug, after I name my robot and talk to it, it's name just disappears and I can't modify it at the robot workbench anymore.
pra
Unfortunately I haven't found a fix. In the end I used the console to give me the resources for exactly the same bot and rebuilt it... The old one was then killed during a raider attack.
LeMatt
Did anyone figure this out?
pra
Nope. Use the console to give you some materials, rebuild the robot, kill the old one.

pra
omg lol, 4 years ago? I have no idea what happened back then, but if DCMS caused it, that save was most certainly broken for good.
BattleFello
yo did this ever get fixed lmao
pra
This was caused by either DCMS (which is EXTREMELY broken, you should NEVER EVER EVER use it), or by that one seriously broken UFO4P version years ago, which caused NPCs bugging all the time. It has not occured since, at least not for me. So I guess this did get indeed fixed, "lmao".
