Walsandrew
Hi all, I am about to enter whiterun for the first time and every time I enter I get immediately attacked by all the guards. There is no way I can kill them yet but this is my main quest - what can I do to remove the bounty? I think may have mistakenly killed some whiterun mages in the forest while on-route but unfortunately I don't have a save point right before that.. Any help would be much appreciated! Wyrdfire
Oblivion console commands should work (I haven't tried). Launch the console using the ~ key and enter the commands: player.setcrimegold 0 player.setpcinfamy 0 The first one sets your bounty to zero gold, the second resets your infamy points. neiljwd
player.setpcinfamy 0 isn't workling/recognised by the console.Does anyone have a working one please.I've just entered whiterun, having done NOTHING bad and the guards want me.Only thing I can think is that as I helped fend of a bandit attack one of my spells caught a guard... I don't think it's right I should be punished for that.
daxzair
There's a theive's guild fence in Riften that you can pay for the bounty removal, but I haven't tried yet.
Vindekarr
open console. click on yourself. setcrimegold 0 forget grammer, that's all one word.
Wyrdfire
I've just entered whiterun, having done NOTHING bad and the guards want me. What about the other command? In Oblivion with player.setcrimegold 0 the guards would chase you but then would engage in normal conversation. Or you could use the payfine command (pays the amount of gold you set with setcrimegold and clears your infamy points).
shadow56
Using console and typing player.setcrimegold 0 does not work in Skyrim. I have tried it. Many of the Oblivion commands do not work. You have to experiment to see which ones do work.
