Bethesda Took Hints from Popular Mods?

I can't help but be reminded of the most popular mods for Oblivion when I think of some of the new features in Skyrim. Don't get me wrong, I think it was a very smart move - if tons of fans quite clearly like a feature, why the heck not add it?

For example,

Companions that can sit, stay, heel, and fetch. :P (Wait here, go there, pick this lock, etc. And most importantly, they don't report your crimes!)

Harvest Flora - parts of plants disappear when you pick them

Deadly Reflex - brutal finishing moves and, with enough levelling, decapitations

More options for Argonian and Khajiit looks (more than one eye color, etc)

There are more, I'm sure, but I've only had the game for one day. xD

What do you guys think of some of the new features? Have you found any more that remind you of mods?

One of the most popular, and one of the ones that Beth themselves admitted to was how they handled bows. A lot slower, and a lot more powerful. Based off an Oblivion mod.

I've seen things here in there in watching LPs and reading stuff that makes me think they also borrowed form other games. Some of it's obvious, like being able to get married regardless of gender--Fable had this. And there's something you can do in Bioshock regarding water, but it has to be a certain sort. That's all I'll say, though someone here has likely figured it out! Now, if you could zap an electric spell at water while an enemy stands in it, and they get damaged, I would *really* say they borrowed from Bioshock.

Minecraft's resource gathering and crafting... oh, and totally took dragons, lol.

Fable's marriage system.

Harvest Moon's farming and house upgrading.

Not really but I love the innovation in this game. They took all our favorite mods and made it vanilla. What are the modders going to do?
