clawcity
I've downloaded several mods for my brother including Settlement Frontiers and Functional Weapon Racks, Unfortunately none of them seem to be working. I've dumped the files in the Fallout 4 data folder, and used the Nexus Mod Manager to activate the esp files but nothing is happening.I've tried adding folders to sResourceDataDirsFinal in Fallout.ini and added bEnableFileSelection=1 to Fallout4Prefs.iniI also tried adding bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 and blanking sResourceDataDirsFinal. Still nothing. Any ideas guys?

NorthWolf
You mention Fallout4.ini and Fallout4Prefs.ini but to my knowledge you should be adding those lines to Fallout4Custom.ini. Just follow the "How to Enable Fallout 4 Mods" section here.
Rabbit1251
It sounds silly, but have gone into your Documents-My Documents-My Games-Fallout4-Plugins.txt and typed a '*' (star) before each of your installed mods? On the game start page have you opened 'Mods' and activated them on Bethesda.net? Just two suggestions that I can think of. The Rabbit
clawcity
I've tried adding those lines to Fallout4Custom.ini, still no joy.I don't have a plugins.txt in my Documents folder, but I did find one in AppData which already listed all my mods, though I haven't added asterixes yet. There is no "Mods" option on my game start page. clawcity
Adding the stars to plugins.txt seems to have done the trick. Oddly I didn't have to do that on my own PC to get mods to work.
AbominableAnton
Like, clawcity, the majority of the mods that I have installed are not working as intended. Mods like 'Full Dialogue Interface' are working fine, but when it comes to plugins, I'm still having issues. Adding the asterisk worked, but only temporarily. When including the asterisk in the text file and then saving, the plugin becomes unchecked in NMM. Reactivating the plugins through NMM, the listed plugins (in the text file) are once again left without the asterisk. I went ahead and checked to see if the mods worked when including the asterisk before the plugin and leaving the plugin unchecked in NMM, and they did. However, once I add an additional mod, the plugins in the text file disappear. As a result, I'm back to square one. Any other suggestions? Also, I'm continuing to get error/warning messages when adding or disabling/reactivating a mod. The message is as follows... "To use Fallout 4 mods you are REQUIRED to make some necessary ini edits (Fallout.ini), please follow this video guide..." It then provides me a link to the installation process on the nexus wiki. I have looked at the ini files multiple times, and I see no problem whatsoever, so I'm unsure as to why I'm getting this message. Perhaps I'm missing something, but everything seems to be in order. It's driving me up the wall, not being able to figure out the issues. It's past midnight here and I'm going to bed. If anyone responds, please be patient and I'll get back to you when I can. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Edited July 22, 2016 by AbominableAnton
Rabbit1251
AbominableAnton, Have you gone to Bethesda.net (https://mods.bethesda.net/#en/workshop/fallout4) and enabled them there? At your game's Start Menu click 'Mods' and it will take you there. Note that you will need an account with them. The Rabbit
