AbominableAnton
I have, Rabbit. No luck on that front.
Rabbit1251
'K, a shot in the dark, in a manner of speaking. You say that you see no problem with your .ini files, but did you actually go in and make the changes in them suggested in the workaround? C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4Custom.ini Under [Archive] add:bInvalidateOlderFiles=1sResourceDataDirsFinal=Save and close the file. AbominableAnton
I finally have it working again. The ini files weren't the issue as far as I can tell. I believe the plugins text file was the culprit, as it seemed to have become corrupted in some manner. No idea why, but as I explained in my previous post, the asterisks were not sticking when including them with the esp descriptions. I decided to delete the text file and recreate it, but left it blank and saved it like that. I then uninstalled and then reinstalled NMM for the second time (along with Fallout 4) and this time the text file was appropriately formatted with the mods and asterisks. So, yeah, it's all good now. Appreciate the willingness to assist, Rabbit. Have a good one.

clawcity
So what is this mods.bethesda.net site? I don't even have a mods option in my game menu.
Rabbit1251
So what is this mods.bethesda.net site? I don't even have a mods option in my game menu.Like the Nexus bethesda.net is where Bethesda hosts the mods for the games that they make. On the Fallout 4 game page where you can choose to continue a game there should be a selection for 'mods' about five down (just after 'add-ons'). That will take you to their site where, along with downloading mods, you can enable your mods or set up your load order. Since I did this I have had only one issue with mods disabling themselves after using the Nexus Mod Manager. To use their 'service' you must first create an account with them here: (https://mods.bethesda.net/#en/workshop/fallout4). Hopefully that will work for you.
