I've been playing the same character since Morrowind. She's very old now. And I love that this game allows me to have scars. She's got some cool scars. :D I'm not a frilly, girly girl type. I don't see why a woman can't handle a rough terrain like a man can. Unless you're thinking of the Pamela Anderson types who are going to cry when they break a nail and show up in high heels and a mini skirt. XD

You didn't ask if we ourselves were male or female. That would have been an interesting addition to your poll. I'm a woman, so I mostly play as a woman character, although I've played as a male character a couple of times in Morrowind. Edited November 15, 2011 by Snowsong

I typically play a guy only but with Oblivion I made an exception. I still originally played a guy but after the mods matured, I switched over to female characters. I'm sticking with a guy for Skyrim for the foreseeable future though. The characters look too stylized, dirty and old now to me to try my hand making a female character. I'd rather make a male and look for a mod that lets him dress in drag.

Well, the results are unexpected at least for me. It seems that quite a few folks play as a male, wich is a good thing(again, for me) becouse mayby we'll see more male mods or at least the balance between genders will be restored. I for one, can't wait until the CS is released. I'll drink to that!

Female. If I'm going to play a game for hundreds of hours, why not have it spent looking at a female's shapely, firm backside bouncing up and down/side to side as opposed to two slabs of granite shashaying in front of me?

Male, male, always play as male.

I prefer immersion and I want to feel like the character is me.

So, I want the character to look like me as much as possible. I'm not planning on a sex change, so I'll stick to male characters.
