GaiusMartius
I know that there has been a companion mod that utilizes PyroJesus' Man With No Name pack, and adds a companion to New Vegas who resembles The Man With No Name. I'm wondering if there is a mod that adds the likeness (face) to the character creation? I dream of a Man With No Name RPG, New Vegas modded is probably the closest there will ever be to one. lol Here is the picture, and a link to the companion mod for reference.http://media.moddb.com/cache/images/mods/1/26/25386/thumb_620x2000/0115.jpghttp://www.moddb.com/mods/clint-eastwood-companion/images/eastwood-in-vegas5#imagebox
madmongo
1. Open up that mod in the GECK but don't make it the active mod.2. Open up the man with no name NPC. While that is still open, open up one of the character generation presets like CGPresetCaucasianM02.3. Go to Face Advanced tab on the man with no name NPC. Press Copy.4. Go to the CG Preset NPC's FaceAdvanced tab. Press Paste. Now select something other than Brow Ridge - High/Low and press paste again because the GECK won't copy any field that is highlighted (stupid, buggy, toolset...).5. Go to the Face tab and make the hair color of the CG Preset NPC match the man with no name NPC. Then go to the Head Parts tab and match up the hair color, eye color, and Head Add Ons.6. Change the ID on your CG Preset NPC to something unique, can be anything you want, like CGPresetManWithNoName for example and click OK to save your new CG preset NPC.7. Close the man with no name NPC window (you're done with it now).8. Save your mod and activate it. Now the man with no name face will show up as one of your presets during character generation. If you change or remove that mod (like there's an update to the mod so you download a new version) then you'll lose the preset. The way I did it has a few more steps, but it's easy to do and you create a mod that isn't dependent on other mods. If the NPC is question uses a custom race, and/or uses custom assets like hair and eye colors, then you'll need to copy those into your mod as well.
