leedavis
This is a description and survey request for a mod I've been working on for months called Salada: Skeleton Island. Story: A city known as Salada once a part of normal Cyradile, is missing. Upon the request of a disperate mother, you find a mysterous fog... While exploring Salada, you learn some odd happenings about the locals, and the countess and count. After further investigation you find yourself battling several skeletons guarding... After finding the Wizard's lair, you search the depth to discover the Wizard has been expecting you. As the flames rush aroung you you have no choice but to... Explaination: The mod will have ten or more quests, depending on this survey. There is a main quest, and several smaller quest involving combat, magic, stealth, humor, drama. and just plain silliness. All quest are choice based. What you decide to due determines what quests will be available later.Main Quest: Freeing the Salada People.Subquests: Rousing the Guards-a combat comedy invovling, will, rousing the guards (bugging them), Stenaro's Amusment-a quest for info that requires you to find some sort of entertainment to get the info, Escape the Catacombs-a combat, mystery that requires cleverness and observence. There are no new objects, such as specialy created swords, as I am still learning to use blender. But perhaps in time. However, there will be a vast array of piles of gold, armor, weapons, and magic from the original game varied upon the situtation and the level of the hero. Before Christmas, I should have a demo, that will auto push you through the main quest for a taste. There is some fansy scripting that took many hours to perfect, so I need feedback before I continue this time consuming mod. As part of this survey, any request for specific additional info about the mod that will not spoil the fun of this adventure can be replied. Simply tell me if this is a mod you would like to see playable. ThanksLeedavis
Malchik
By the sound of it - yes. I like mods with fun, skill, challenge etc. (Sooo unlike vanilla Oblivion.) However let's see the demo first. Don't make the rewards so great as to be unbalancing.
leedavis
Well, a little disappointed that few have viewed this, and only one has responded. If there are no other responses by Dec 22, I'll likely not post the demo. No sense in wasting time. However, Malchik, if you are still interesting in seeing it I can send it to you. Let me know. TheTerminator2004
Actually, I agree with Malchik, this does sound like a very nice mod, I'd be interested to see it. Like he said, fun, skill and challenge are very hard to find, even in mods, although there are a few notable exceptions.
