Request: Co-op

I really want this... really really want this

Stop asking for Co-op. TES and Fallout were made to be SINGLE PLAYER GAMES. It IS possible to make Co-op but when they did it with Oblivion. It was complete and utter s***. Now i was amazing that they got it to work. But the characters didnt move and it fell apart. NOT TO MENTION, you would have to have ALL the same mods making it a shitstorm to find a server if they even got a working co-op. It would be nice to have a LAN co-op or a local one no doubt, but its not going to be done. It IS nearly impossible to do. We all would love to have it... But we dont nor will we. All we have to do is hope for a TES that is made to be an MMO. Hopefully in TES 7-8... I dont see them doing it before then though TBH, with Fallout 4 on its way. Oneday kids. Oneday we will have our MMO TES.

I've always been interested in multiplayer modes for Oblivion and Fallout but I don't see them being made anytime soon. Best case scenario would be that the next game Bethesda make in similar style ends up having some form of multiplayer support (so long as they don't forsake LAN, goddammit).

This isn't that big a problem, to be honest. Multiplayer server-based games have all faced this issue and have worked quite well in spite of it.

It wouldn't be easy, of course, (especially with gameplay-altering mods) but the same issues Skyrim faces with mods in multiplayer are very similar to ones Minecraft faces and has achieved in light of this.

Ultimately though, it'd be better if the game were built with multiplayer support, rather than having it added. Oblivion had a mod that was being designed for this but it could be classed as abandonware now because it hasn't been updated for years. It's a huge, ambitious endeavour and almost impossible for one modder to accomplish.

If co-op was made it would be to play with a friend you can sync mods with not a stranger. And I would not want an mmo co-op. Just 2-4 player max would be amazing

Syncing mods? My Fallout 3 had over 100GB of mods alone. Having to get yur friends to get the exact same version and the same mods would be the biggest pain in the ass.

ever think it would only be the base game that was loaded.....wow some people are so dull. and that is possible with a custom game loader. something like obmm or fomm.
